Mega-Truss Pick for Threaded Rod Installations
12″ Threaded Rod Truss Pick pictured above –
Two 1″ x 2″ x 15″ 6061T-6 aluminium bars CNC machined with pockets to support
one piece of 12″ truss. The Mega-Truss Pick will suspend up to one ton of
truss load when the Mega-Truss Pick is suspended by two customer supplied 1/2″
threaded rods, or two 1/2″ forged steel shoulder eye bolts fastened through
the outside support holes. All of the holes are through holes without
threading. Secure the threaded rod with a nut and washers above and use any
col nuts with a USS washer below the truss pick.
Rigging from only the centre hole de-rates the Threaded Rod Truss Pick to 250 pounds capacity.
