Warranty
Eartec items are warran-ed against defects in material and/or factory workmanship for a set period from the date of purchase. Standard repairs due to misuse or wear and tear, as well as replacement parts including but not limited to ba=eries, padding, USB cable, etc. are excluded. Shipping to Eartec is at customer’s expense, Eartec will pay for return ground shipping if the product warranty applies to the repair. Call for details.
Shipping
Prior to returning your headset for warranty or service you must call Eartec for an RA (return authoriza-on) number: 1.800.399.5994.
General Service
All repair work will be performed for the cost of replacement parts and return shipping from the Eartec factory.

IMPORTANT
System includes (1) headset labeled “MAIN”.
This MAIN headset must be “ON” to link the corresponding Remote headsets.

Battery

All PRO16 are powered by a Lithium Polymer baDery that will operate 10 hours when fully charged.

Charging

  1. Batteries are charged via the multi-charger.
  2. Insert the batteries making sure the contacts are properly aligned.
  3. RED: Charging; GREEN: Fully Charged.

Installation

  1. Press & slide battery door arrow to open & close compartment.
  2. Insert battery – arrow indicates proper direction.

Low Indicator

  1. A repetitive beep (every 20 seconds) indicates low power.
  2. Battery should be charged or replaced.

To ensure optimum charge level remove battery when system not in use.

AutoMute Function

Microphone mutes automatically when boom is set to “UP” position. Boom swivels over the top 270 degrees. Headset can be worn on left or right ear.

Operation

Each new PRO16 arrives pre-programmed. Should you need to add to your system please visit eartec.com/PRO16-programming.

Adjus(ng for Fit & Performance

  1. Adjust the headband slide for size as necessary.
  2. Position the microphone capsule at one finger’s width from the corner of your mouth to ensure superior speech recognition and noise cancellation.
  3. “TALK” identifies front of microphone: always have TALK facing towards your mouth.

Startup

  1. Click the power button on the MAIN headset. Flashing green LED indicates power is ON.
  2. Press the power button on the REMOTE headset(s).
    1. The LED on all headsets will flash & then turn solid green, indicating headsets have linked.

Note:
To turn off, press and hold the power button for 4-5 seconds.
When LED blinks red, release. Remove battery for storage.

Set Volume
PRO16 features 5 volume sehngs. Select the desired volume by slowly clicking the UP or DOWN buttons. An audible tone reflects volume level. A double tone indicates low or max volume has been reached.

Channel Combine Switch

Two Channels of Simultaneous Talk

  1. The PRO16 allows separate groups to speak privately on two separate channels.
  2. Simply touch the yellow combine switch on the main headset to connect your entire crew into a full-duplex conference.
  3. Press the button again to return to speaking in two separate groups.
