Product Usage Instructions
Assembly
- Hold the assembled brush sets together and slide each set into the grooves on the rotor until each set clicks into place.
- Attach the handle support to the sweeper body by inserting 4 M5 screws from the inside of the body and securing them with M5 washers and locking nuts.
Usage
- Before use, ensure the hopper bag is securely attached to the sweeper body.
- Adjust the height of the front part of the sweeper body as needed and tighten the knob.
- Engage the assembled hopper to the handle and fit the connectors into the slots on the sweeper body.
- Avoid using the leaf sweeper on slopes; prefer going downhill instead of uphill.
- Do not sweep debris longer than approximately 6 cm (2.5 inches).
- Clear leaves or mud around the wheels to prevent blockage.
- Dispose of collected debris in a designated local recycling facility.

How do I clean the brushes of the HojaHunt GRASS004?
To clean the brushes, detach them from the rotor, remove any debris or tangles, and rinse them with water. Allow them to dry completely before reattaching. -
Can I use the leaf sweeper on wet leaves?
It is not recommended to use the leaf sweeper on wet leaves as they can clog the machine and reduce its efficiency. Wait for the leaves to dry before sweeping. -
How often should I empty the hopper bag?
It is advisable to empty the hopper bag regularly, especially if it starts to fill up or if you notice a decrease in sweeping performance.

- Crosshead screwdriver

ASSEMBLY

Attach the handle support (b) to the handlebar (a), using 2xM6x35 bolt (c), 2xM6 washer (e) and 2x wing nut (f).

Attach assembled handle section to the sweeper body (m) by inserting 4x M5 bolts (s) from the inside of the sweeper body, through the holes on the bottom on the assembled handle 0section and securing using M5 washers (e) and M5 locking nuts (r).

Insert Support leg right and left (p&q) into the holes of Sweeper body (m), and stuck,as the following figure move the lock to hole, press down and stuck into the hole. As figure direction insert M6 35 bolt (c)× into the holes of handle and Support leg, screw them together tightly with wingnut (f) and M6 washer (e).

Press together the holes and pins at the top of the brushes (n) to form 4 sets.

Hold the assembled brush sets together and slide each set into the grooves on the rotor until each set clicks into place.

Starting with the A end, insert rod (h) into sleeve on the upper edge of hopper bag (g). Push rod all the way around until the end clears the sleeve on the upper edge of the hopper bag. Insert the left side of bottom rod (i) through sleeve and repeat same for the right side. Insert the upper (h) and bottom rods (i) into the grooves on hopper handle (d) and push them to firmly attach together until the notches on the rods snap into position. Position the bottom cross rod into the bottom sleeve B on the hopper bag until it clicks in position.

Clip the assembled hopper into position on the handle and slot the connectors into the recesses on the sweeper body (m).
BEFORE USE
- Periodically check that all nuts, bolts & screws are secure and tighten if necessary.
- Ensure the area of use is clear of obstructions before use.
- After an extended period without use, check all fixings are secure and check all moving parts and lubricate if necessary.
- Set to the desired height using by loosening the knob on the front of the sweeper body, adjusting height and re-tightening the knob.
DURING USE
- Take care to avoid injury to fingers when adjusting the machine.
- Take extra care when changing direction or working on a slope. Keep the machine upright at all times.
- Adjust the height of the leaf sweeping brushes to the desired level. The lower settings are suitable for all surfaces, the middle settings for wet, slippery or rough and loose surfaces and the higher settings for maintenance and moving the Leaf Sweeper.
- Do NOT apply heavy downward force when operating. This will cause greater friction to the ground and may cause damage to the brushes.
- Where possible, operate down wind.
AFTER USE
- Empty leaf collection bag.
- Clean after use.
- Allow leaf collection bag to dry before re-attaching.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
WARNING
- Wear suitable eye protection during use.
- Wear suitable outdoor footwear.
- For outdoor use only.
- Keep away from children.
- Ensure work area is clear of obstructions before use.
- Do NOT run with the leaf sweeper when in use.
- Always push in a straight line in a forward direction.
- Do NOT use on steep slopes.
- When using on a slope always push the Leaf Sweeper across the slope rather than up or down the slope.
- Do NOT use if damaged.
- Do NOT use to sweep up liquids.
- Do NOT attempt to repair the Leaf Sweeper yourself.
- Adjust the brush height if the brushes jam frequently or if the sweeping performance is reduced.
- Not recommended for use on long grass over approx. 6cm (21/2 in) in length.
- After an extended period without use, check all fixings are secure and check all moving parts and lubricate if necessary.
CLEANING
- Brushes can be removed for cleaning and re-fitted as per the assembly instructions.
- Wipe the hopper clean with a soft damp cloth.
- Periodically brush any leaf debris or mud from around the wheels to prevent them locking.
PACKAGING
- Dispose of packaging at your local recycling centre.
- Dispose of paper and carton separately from plastic bags at your local recycling centre.
- Dispose of item at the end of its lifespan at your local authorised household waste recycling centre.
