INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
Note : Refer to the installation diagram as needed.
STEP1
Shut off the water supply, then drain the sink faucet’s remaining water. Using
an adjustable wrench, remove the existing angle valve under the sink, then
replace it with the provided 3-way angle valve.
Note: If your water supply pipe line is 3/8″ use the additional adapters for the water supply valve. If your supply pipe line is 1/2″ the adapters are not needed.
Reminder: Extra caution is needed when tightening the angle valve. Make
sure it is aligned and not over-tight.
Warning: This product is intended only for cold water. Connecting to the
hot water supply will damage the unit and void the warranty.
STEP2
The “RO” unit produces waste water so it requires a drain system. Under the
sink p-trap or where the nearest drain is available, install the saddle drain
on a vertical pipe. Drill an¼ inch hole on one side of the pipe. Now fit the
saddle clamp aligning the hole of the clamp and the pipe. Then insert the
provided hose halfway to the vertical drain pipe’s diameter – approximately
¾-inch(20mm).
STEP3
Find a suitable location under the sink to place the Seltza RO unit, then
connect the provided hoses to the outlets at the back of the unit (Fig. 1.1)
- A. Connect the hose from the 3-way angle valve to “Supply” (feed water) (1)
- Reminder: To avoid confusion, coil or loop the excess hose after connecting each end.
- B. Connect another hose to the drain saddle inlet from the Waste outlet marked “Waste” (2)
- C. Connect another hose from the RO water outlet to the sink faucet (3)
STEP4
- Make sure all 3 filters are properly installed and hose connections are securely done before proceeding to the next steps.
- Now connect the power adaptor in the RO unit, then plug it into the power outlet. (Fig. 1.2) Automatically the light indicator will flash.
STEP4
- Turn On the water supply. Test the unit.

FAQ’s
Q: Does it have a built-in pump?
A: Yes. The built-in pump is just enough to run the system.
Q: Can SeltzaRO wastewater be recycled?
A: Filtering it multiple times can damage the system. It is recommended for use in watering plants or similar purposes, but not suitable for bathing.
Q: Should I follow the cartridge replacement duration?
A: It is recommended to follow the filter replacement schedule. However, the filter condition may vary depending on your local water supply. Some local water supplies may already be processed when they reach your tap.
Q: Can it operate continuously for long hours?
A: To prolong the unit's service life, it is advisable to have a 15-minute rest interval after 45 minutes of continuous operation.
Q: Can it be installed in an RV unit?
A: Yes, from 120V, its power source can be alternatively connected to a 24Volt system using a proper adaptor.
Q: Will the SeltzaRO system still work during a power outage?
A: No. There's a pump inside the system, that needs 120V power. But a 24 DC Volt will do using another adaptor
Q: Does the Seltza RO system neutralize pH levels?
A: No. The filtration system still depends on the existing water pH level.
Q: Will the hard water soften after it passes thru the RO filters?
A: It will reduce Calcium and Magnesium content but does not guarantee that it will soften your water quality drastically.
Q: Is it normal that the indicator light goes out after a few minutes of inactivity.
A: That is normal, the LED indicator will resume when it is used again.
Q: Can the Seltza RO system be connected to a refrigerator or icemaker?
A: Yes, however, it may need higher pressure so a small pump is needed.
Q: How much room is required under the sink to install?
A: 140x440x405mm (S½ X 17¾ X 16inches)
Q: Does it filter fluoride?
A: Yes. Reverse Osmosis filters fluoride.
