- Display Functions
- The GPS Speed meter:G3 has the following display functions:
- Wave button function: Long press to enter the setting mode, press to choose the menu, press left or right to adjust the value. Long press again to save and exit.
- Menu: Displays the available functions and parameters for adjustment.
- Speed Adjustment: Range from 50 to 150. Adjusts the parameter value when there is an error between the Head-Up Display (HUD) and dashboard speed readings.
- Over Speed Alarm: Range from 0 to 250. When the vehicle speed reaches 150, the HUD will give an alarm.
- Fatigue Driving Alarm: Range from 1.0 to 8.0. HUD will give a fatigue driving alarm every 4 hours.
- Brightness Adjustment: Range from 0 to 11. Adjusts the brightness level of the display.
- Speed Unit: Choose between KM/H (kilometers) or MPH (miles).
- Sensitivity Adjustment: Range from 1 to 11. Adjusts the sensitivity level of the display.
- Time Adjustment: Range from 0:00 to 12:00. Adjusts the time zone when the satellite signal is not received.
- Factory Reset: Resets all settings to default values.
Product Usage Instructions
- Setting Mode
- To enter the setting mode:
- Long press the wave button to enter the setting mode.
- Press the wave button to choose the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the value.
- Once finished with the setting, long press the wave button to save and exit.
- Speed Adjustment
- To adjust the speed parameter:
- In the setting mode, choose “Speed Adjustment” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the value within the range of 50-150.
- Adjust the value when there is an error between the HUD and dashboard speed readings. For example, if the dashboard displays 100 KM/H and the HUD displays 105 KM/H, adjust the parameter value to 102 (107-5).
- Over Speed Alarm
- To set the over speed alarm:
- In the setting mode, choose “Over Speed Alarm” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the value within the range of 0-250.
- When the vehicle speed reaches the set value, the HUD will give an alarm.
- Fatigue Driving Alarm
- To set the fatigue driving alarm:
- In the setting mode, choose “Fatigue Driving Alarm” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the value within the range of 1.0-8.0.
- The HUD will give a fatigue driving alarm every 4 hours.
- Brightness Adjustment
- To adjust the brightness level:
- In the setting mode, choose “Brightness Adjustment” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the value within the range of 0-11. represents automatic brightness adjustment, while values from 1 to 11 represent manual adjustment (1 being the darkest and 11 being the brightest).
- Speed Unit
- To switch between KM/H and MPH:
- In the setting mode, choose “Speed Unit” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to select between 0 (KM/H) and 1 (MPH).
- Time Adjustment
- To adjust the time when satellite signal is not received:
- In the setting mode, choose “Time Adjustment” from the menu.
- Press the left or right arrow buttons to adjust the time within the range of 0:00-12:00.
- Default value is East 8 area. Calibrate the local time after the satellite signal is found.
- Factory Reset
- To perform a factory reset:
- In the setting mode, choose “Factory Reset” from the menu.
- Press and hold the wave button for 3 seconds to save and exit.
- Troubleshooting
- No Display and No Power
- If the screen has no display and there is no power:
- Check if the USB cable is damaged. Replace the USB cable for testing.
- Do not use a power supply with a voltage higher than 5V.
- No Car Speed
- If there is no car speed displayed:
- After powering on the HUD, wait for the satellite icon to start flashing. It will start searching for the satellite signal.
- Drive the car on the road until the satellite icon stops flashing. The display will start working.
- Time Adjustment
- If you need to adjust the time:
- After the satellite icon is flashing and the satellite signal is found, long press the wave button to enter the setting mode.
- Short press the wave button to navigate to option 6 (Time Adjustment).
- Adjust and calibrate the local time using the left or right arrow buttons.
- Inaccurate Speed
- If the displayed speed is inaccurate:
- Check if the speed unit is set correctly. Refer to the setting mode to switch between KM/H and MPH.
- Note that car manufacturers often make the dashboard speed 5-7% higher than the Engine Control Unit (ECU) speed.
- The international standard is based on satellite data. Adjust the default value accordingly.
- For example, if the dashboard shows 100 and the device shows 105, change the default value to 102.
- Driving Direction Display Error

- To turn off or on the buzzer:
- Press and hold the left arrow button for 2 seconds to turn off the buzzer.

Button Function
Wave button function:
- short press in : switch the display mode (confirm the option after entering thesetting)
- long press in: enter the setting, short press in to choose menu, after adjusting, long press in to save and exit
- press left: switch vehicle speed and driving direction angle (move optionafter entering setting)
- long press left: when you hear Didi turn off the buzzer, again to turn on the buzzer
- press right: switch time, satellite number, travel distance, travel time, accelerationtime per 100 kilometers (move option after entering the setting)
Enter setting mode
- Long press in to enter into the setting mode, press in to choose the menu, press left or right to adjust the value.
- Once finishing the setting, long press in to save and exit.
Troubleshooting
- The screen without any display, and no power
- Check whether the USB cable is damaged, replace the USB cable for testing, and prohibit the use of voltage higher than 5V for power supply
- Without car speed
- After HUD power-on, the satellite icon flashes will start to find the satellite. Please driving the car to the road. It will work after it stops flashing
- Time adjustment
- After the satellite icon is flashing and the satellite is found, long press in to enter the setting, short press in to turn to 6, adjust and calibrate the local time
- Inaccurate speed
- a. First check the speed unit is correct or not, the speed unit including KM/H and MPH, please refer to the setting to switch the unit.
- b. The car manufacturers usually make the dashboard speed 5-7% higher than the ECU. The international standard is based on satellite data. (if the dashboard shows 100, and the device shows the 105, change the default value at 102)
- Driving direction display error
- After the vehicle speed exceeds 5KM / H, the direction can be displayed normally.
- Speed is still displayed after the car stops
- Under the underground parking lot, tunnel, under the overpass, there will be unstable satellite drift when there is obstruction.
- Turn off the buzzer
- Press left for 2 seconds to turn off the buzzer, again to turn on.
