THIS UNIT IS HEAVY. DO NOT assemble without helper.
Some parts may contain sharp edges – especially as noted in manual. Wear
protective gloves if necessary.

Turn crank handle counterclockwise and remove it from grill.

Remove cooking grates from grill

Remove the two 1/4-20×1/2” machine screws and tool hooks from each side shelf.

Remove the two 1/4-20×1/2” machine screws from the rear of each side shelf. Slide shelves off of legs.

Have a helper hold grill lid in position. Remove eight#10-24×1/2” machine screws and #10-24 flange nuts from the lid hinge.

Have your helper position the grill lid so that the lid stop wires on each side can be disengaged from the lid. Place lid aside and remove lid stop wires from firebox.

Remove two 1/4-20×1/2” hex-head machine screws from each adjustable fire grate bracket. Remove fire grate assembly from firebox.

Slide ash pan out of firebox.

Remove the hitch pins and hinge pins from the cleanout door and remove door from firebox.

Remove the cleanout door frame from the front panel by removing the four #10-24×1/2” flat-head machine screws and four #10-24 flange nuts.

With the aid of a helper, tumn cart upside-down. Remove the cotter pin from one wheel and slide the wheel and wheel spacer off of the axle. Slide the axle out of the legs. Keep the remaining cotter pin, wheel, and wheel spacer on the axle.

Remove the 1/4-20×1%” machine screws from the outside corner of each caster.
This will detach the bottom shelf from the rightlegs. not necessary to remove
the 44.20×2″ Bottom shelf remaining caster screws. screw
Have your helper hold the bottom shelf in position. Remove the two 1/4-20×2”
machine screws and 1/4-20 flange nuts from the left legs to remove bottom
shelf.

Remove the 1/4-20×2” machine screws and 1/4-20 flange nuts from each front leg. Itis not necessary to remove the rear legs. Next, remove the 1/4-20×1/2” hex- head machine screw and 1/4-20 flange nut from each end of the firebox to detach front panel.

After installing the new front panel, follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble your grill. You may also refer to your original assembly instruction manual that was provided with your grill. If you no longer have your original manual you may download a copy by visiting www.charbroil.com.

front panel.
Hardware is shown actual size. You may have spare hardware after assembly is
complete.
