Switching Between Modes

The light has different modes:

• Sensor Mode: Activates to 100% brightness when motion is detected, turns off after 30 seconds of no motion.
• Night Mode: Automatically switches to 10% brightness at night and turns off after 8 hours of continuous use.
• Dimming Mode + Sensor Mode: Turns on at 3% brightness at night, switches to 100% brightness on motion detection, and returns to 3% brightness when no motion is detected.

Notes

1. The internal light sensor prevents motion activation during the day and activates when ambient light decreases.
2. Do not replace the internal lithium battery yourself; dispose of it properly at a battery disposal center.

IMPORTANT SAFETY DETAILS

1. This product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with instructions provided and in compliance with recognised electrical and safety regulations relevant to the country it is being installed.
2. Please handle carefully, avoid rough handling and collision.
3. This product may NOT be installed by minors or people with a mental disability.
4. The product should NOT be covered with insulation material at any time. Unless using a model with an insulation guard.
5. Please keep the surface of the solar panel clean, to make sure the product works at it’s best performance.
6. It is important to install the light in a location that receive full sunlight each day, away from the shade caused by trees, buildings etc. Shady locations will not allow the battery to be fully charged and will reduce the hours of night time light.
7. The performance of the solar light is dependent on the geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal sunlight availability. On cloudy days and during winter, the solar light will not receive as much direct sunlight, resulting in reduced brightness and reduced operating time. Dispose the used battery properly! Do not dispose the battery in fire!

CHOOSING A LOCATION

Place the solar panel where it will receive at least 8 hours of direct sunlight per day. Ideally, the solar panel should face south. Placing the solar panel in a shaded area will not allow the battery to charge fully and will reduce the number of hours the light will operate. When choosing a location for your solar-powered motion detector, make sure that the solar panel is not placed near nighttime light sources such as porch lights or streetlights. Ideally, for maximum detection range, the detector should be mounted 1.8 to 2.5 metres above the area to be covered. This solar motion sensor light is ideal for areas where electricity is not available, including driveways, carports, garages and front doors, for added security around your home. When deciding where to mount the light, remember that the motion sensor that activates this light has a field of view of 120° (horizontal) at a maximum distance of 5 metres (16 ft) when the ambient temperature is 25°C (77°F).

INSTALLATION DETAILS

SWITCHING BETWEEN MODES

Sensing for 30s + Off -> Always on 10% brightness -> Dim Mode + Sensing for 30s -> Off

Sensor mode
Switches to 100% brightness when motion is detected, switches off completely after 30 seconds if no motion is detected.

Night mode
The light automatically switches to 10% brightness at night and switches off after 8 hours of continuous use.

Dimming mode + Sensor mode
The lights automatically switch on at 3% brightness at night, change to 100% brightness when motion is detected and return to 3% brightness when no motion is detected.

NOTES

1. the internal light sensor ensures that the motion sensor is not activated during the day. when the ambient light gets dark, the sensor is activated.
2. The product is equipped with an internal lithium battery, please do not replace it yourself, dispose of it with household waste or place it near sources of heat. It should be taken to your local battery disposal centre.
3. A full charge requires up to 8 hours of sunlight, so installation location, weather conditions and seasonal variations will directly affect the actual run time experienced.

MOUNTING
Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. Any activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Product has a protective contact/terminal. Failure to connect the protective lead may lead to electric shock. Mounting diagram: see pictures. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use. The product can be connected to a supply network which meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. To maintain the proper IP protection level, the right diameter of the power cable should be selected for the cable gland used in the product.

FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Product can be used indoors and outdoors.

USAGE GUIDELINES / MAINTENANCE
Any maintenance work must be performed when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents. Do not cover the product. Ensure free air access. Product may heat up to a higher temperature. Product can only be supplied by rated voltage or voltage within the range provided. It’s forbidden to use the product with damaged protective cover. Product must not be used in unfavourable conditions, e.g. dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes, etc. Non-demountable product. Not suitable for independent repairs.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Keep your environment clean. Segregation of post-packaging waste is recommended.
