GENERAL AND SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.

  • This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
  • Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  • Product operating and storage temperature is from 0 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
  • Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunlight!
  • The unit is not waterproof. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.
  • Do not use non original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Prior to using your product, please read all the safety and operating instructions thoroughly. Please ensure you follow the steps below before using the product.
We recommend you keep the original packaging for storing the product when not in use.
Find a safe and convenient place to keep this instruction manual for future reference.
Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure your new product is undamaged and in good working order. Ensure you have all accessories listed in this manual.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Powering the Music Station

  1. Take off the cover of the power cord.
  2. Insert the plug to the power source.

NOTE: The machine is designed and used in Australia and New Zealand only.
Using machine in other countries and areas might result in default due to different standard of plug/power source.

NOTE: The machine is not powered by alkaline batteries. The battery bay at the back of the machine is for time back up only.

Powering the remote control

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
  2. Check the polarity (+/-) inside the battery compartment.
  3. Insert two AAA (LR03) batteries (NOT INCLUDED) according to the polarity.
  4. Re-close the battery door.

WARNING: Please always ensure batteries are correctly installed. Incorrect polarity can damage your machine. Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) and rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
If you are not planning to use your CD Player for an extended period of time, always remove the batteries. Old or leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty. Never dispose of batteries in a fire – batteries can leak or explode.

Time Setting

  1. Make sure the unit is in Standby mode.

  2. Press Time on the machine/remote

  3. Select Time Display in 12 hour or 24 hour mode by using Forward Skip. Press Time to confirm.

  4. Adjust the hour by Forward / Backward Skip. Confirm by press time button.
    Please note that the AM/FM is displayed on the left of the display if you are using 12 hour time display mode only.

  5. Adjust the minute by Forward / Backward Skip. Confirm by pressing time button.

NOTE: The machine has no alarm function

To start

Press Power button on the Unit or remote to start.
The machine supports;

  • CD/MP3 disc;
  • USB contains MP3 files;
  • Bluetooth (Ver. 5.3);
  • FM radio (87.5 – 108MHz);
  • AM radio (522 – 1620kHz);
  • Auxiliary (aux-cord not included)

The machine does memorize the mode and radio station you stopped last time.

The machine does not memorize the song / music you were listening to last time, either from a disc or USB

Playing a CD or MP3-CD

  1. Gently press Open/Close on the CD door to open.
  2. Load the CD or MP3-CD into unit, label side up.
  3. Gently close the CD door by pressing Open/Close on it.
  4. Select CD Mode by pressing Source Button on the machine or Remote
  5. The unit will automatically read the CD or MP3-CD. Number of tracks will be displayed.
  6. The machine will start playback from the 1st track of disc.

If you want to listen privately, connect your earphones to the Earphones jack Adjust the volume by turning the VOLUME knob to your preferred sound level.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the playback anytime you want. Press the PAUSE button again to resume playback.
Press the FORWARD/BACKWARD button to skip to the desired track.
Press and hold the FORWARD/BACKWARD button to skip to the desired part within the track.
Press the STOP button at any time to stop playback. Total number of tracks will be displayed.
Press Repeat/Prog button to select playback mode during playback,

  • Repeat: “REP 1” will appear on the LCD display, the unit will repeat playing the current track continuously;
  • Repeat Album: “Rep Album” will appear on the LCD, unit will repeat the current folder continuously (MP3 only)
  • Repeat All: “REP ALL” will appear on the LCD display, whole CD (MP3CD) will be played continuously;
  • Random: “RAN” will appear. Music will be played randomly like shuffle.

Press Repeat/Prog button to program track while playback stopped, Please see Section “Program Tracks” for details.
Press and hold the Prog button on the unit while playback to jump to the next available file (MP3 only) Only on remote below~ Press +10 on the remote to skip 10 tracks at one time Enter the number of desired track on the number pad of remote and press play button to play the desired track

Program Tracks

  1. Programming can only be done while the music playback is at STOP condition.
  2. Press the PROG button, “P01” will be showed on the LCD display (For MP3- CD, “000” will show on the LCD display)
  3. Press the two SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select the track you wish to program.
  4. Press the PROG button to save the selected track to the “P01” position.
  5. Then “P02” & “00” will show on the LCD display.
  6. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to store other tracks in the order they are programmed.
  7. You can store up to 20 tracks for CD & 99 tracks for MP3-CD.
  8. Press the PLAY button to begin playing the programmed tracks.

Play music from USB

  1. Press the source button to select USB mode and plug in a USB to the slot.
    LCD will display “NO” if no USB is detected

  2. The USB will be played automatically

  3. The machine will start playback from the 1st track of USB.

Auto Resume function

During MP3 playback, if the playback is switched off, the same track resumes playback after restart.

Auxiliary function

  1. You may connect the music source (e.g. PC / MP3 player) with the music station though a Aux cable (not included).
  2. Select Aux mode by pressing Source button after connected.
  3. You are recommended to control the playback though the BT device connected except volume level at both end.

Listening to the FM/AM radio

  1. Press the source button to select FM/AM mode. LCD will display the radio frequency you are listening to.
  2. Press the BACKWARD/FORWARD button for station selection
  3. Press and hold the BACKWARD/FORWARD button for auto scanning the next available station
  4. Select Mono / Stereo Mode by pressing STOP (ST/MONO) button. “ST” is showed on the display if stereo signal is received.
  5. Press and hold the PLAY (Scan/Tun+) button to scan all available radio station and save all of them.
  6. Recall saved stations one by one by press the button again
  7. Press PROG button to save the current station. Select the station to save the frequency by Backward/Forward Skip, confirm by pressing PROG button. (not available on remote)

NOTE: You may save up to 30 radio stations

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Switch to Bluetooth Mode by pressing source button. “BT” will blink on the display
  2. Select “CD-192” on your smartphone or tablet or other Bluetooth device at Bluetooth section to connect.
  3. “BT” will stop blink on display with a noticing sound when the BT device connected with the music station
  4. You are recommended to control the playback though the BT device connected except volume level at both end.

CLEANING, CARE, STORAGE & MAINTENANCE

  • Clean with a soft, damp cloth slightly moistened with water or a mild detergent.
  • Do not use any chemical cleaners such as alcohol, benzine or thinners.
  • Never leave the music station in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
  • Keep the music station away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps and motors.

Our product is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 12 Months.
If your product becomes defective during this period, Electus Distribution will repair, replace, or refund where a product is faulty; or not fit for intended purpose.
This warranty will not cover modified product; misuse or abuse of the product contrary to user instructions or packaging label; change of mind and normal wear and tear.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.
To claim warranty, please contact the place of purchase. You will need to show receipt or other proof of purchase. Additional information may be required to process your claim.
Any expenses relating to the return of your product to the store will normally have to be paid by you.
