Product Usage Instructions:

Before You Start:

1. Before first use, charge the Philips Connected Blood Glucose
Meter for at least 6 hours using the AC charger provided.

2. Conduct a Control Solution Test per instructions in Section
D.2 of the User Manual.

3. Wash hands and testing site with warm water and soap before
testing. Dry hands well.

4. Clean and disinfect the lancing device after each use and the
meter at least once a week. Refer to the manual for details.

How to Take a Blood Glucose Test:

1. Remove the lancing device cap and insert a new lancet into
the device.

2. Adjust the puncture depth level on the device.

3. Power on the meter, insert a test strip, and apply blood as
instructed until the device displays a reading.

4. Select a Reading Tag and press CONTINUE to confirm and send
your result to the server.

Viewing & Adding Logs:

1. Access the logs by pressing the LOGS icon on the Application
Menu or using the buttons.

2. Use the FILTER button to view specific types of logs.

3. Scroll through stored readings and entries using swipe
gestures or buttons.

4. Press ADD LOG to create a new log entry.

5. Edit or delete logs by pressing the Edit button.

6. Enter value, tag, and timestamp for a new log entry and
submit it to save and upload to the server.

Charging Port

Before you start
Before first use, charge the Philips Connected Blood Glucose Meter (BGM) for at least 6 hours with the AC charger included in your kit. Conduct a Control Solution Test per instructions in Section D.2 of the BGM User Manual. Wash your hands and testing site with warm water and soap. Dry your hands well. Clean and disinfect your lancing device after every use. Clean and disinfect your meter at least once a week. Please refer to details in the manual.
Take a blood glucose test
1 Remove the lancing device cap by snapping it off at an angle. Insert a new lancet into the lancing device and twist off its plastic cap.
Important: The lancing device is intended for single patient use.

2 Place the lancing device cap back on the device. Adjust the cap to your desired puncture depth level.
3 Using your thumb, push the sliding button back. You will hear a click, indicating that the lancet carrier is locked into position.
4 Power on and insert a new test strip until it is fully seated and Apply Blood appears.
5 Position the end of the device against the side of the fingertip. Press the trigger button to actuate the lancet.

6 Make sure the Apply Blood screen is displayed. Touch the blood drop until the end is filled. After the test strip is filled, the device will display a countdown while calculating the reading.
7 Your test result will appear after the countdown is over. Select a Reading Tag during or after the countdown. Press the CONTINUE button to confirm your selection and send your result.
8 The BGM will automatically send the results to the server. A response message from the server will be displayed if the results are sent successfully. Remove the test strip.

View & add logs

Logs

1 On the Application Menu, press the LOGS icon OR use the buttons to access the logs.

2 Press the FILTER button to only view certain types of logs.
3 Swipe Up/Down OR use the buttons to scroll through stored readings and other entries.
4 Press the ADD LOG button on the Home Screen OR Logs Screen to create a new log entry.

5 Press the Edit button to create or delete new types of logs.
6 Press the CREATE A LOG button to proceed to the screen where you can enter the value, tag and timestamp a log entry.
7 Press the SUBMIT button to save and upload the new log entry to the server.

Antes de comenzar
Antes del primer uso, cargue el monitor de la glucosa en sangre con conexión inalámbrica de Philips durante al menos 6 horas con el cargador de CA incluido en su kit. 1 Retire la tapa del dispositivo de punción rompiéndola en ángulo. Inserte una nueva lanceta en el dispositivo de punción y desenrosque la tapa de plástico.
Importante: La lanceta se destina para uso en un único paciente.

8 El monitor de la glucosa en sangre enviará automáticamente los resultados al servidor. Si el envío de los resultados fue exitoso se mostrará un mensaje del servidor. Saque la tira reactiva.

Ver y agregar registros

Registros

1 En el menú Aplicaciones, pulse el icono de REGISTROS o utilice los botones para acceder a los registros.

2 Presione el botón de FILTRADO para ver solamente ciertos tipos de registros.
3 Pase el dedo hacia arriba o abajo o utilice los botones para desplazarse por las mediciones almacenadas y otros datos.
4 Presione el botón AGREGAR REGISTRO en la pantalla de Inicio O en la pantalla de Registros para crear una nueva entrada del registro.

5 Presione el botón EDITAR para crear o borrar nuevos tipos de registros.
6 Presione el botón CREAR UN REGISTRO para pasar a la pantalla donde puede ingresar el valor, la etiqueta y la marca de tiempo de una entrada de registro.
7 Presione el botón ENVIAR para guardar y cargar la nueva entrada del registro al servidor.
