INSTALLATION MANUAL
PLEASE NOTE: THESE SPOTLIGHTS ARE NOT SUITABLE AS FLOOR OR DECK
SPOTLIGHTS
Please read this manual carefully before installing and using the downlights.
Do this for your own safety and to prevent damage of the product. This manual
is applicable to the recessed downlights. The kit is delivered ready for use
with the amount of downlights you selected, five meters cables per spot, non-
dimmable driver and connectors.
- First check whether all the parts are in the box and test the kit before installing it permanently.
- Take the aluminum outer-housing of the downlight, mount the outer-housing on the desired place. Push the downlight into the mounted housing.
- Connect the connector to the LED driver (OUTPUT). Blue on negative (-) and brown on positive (+). Subsequently, connect all the downlights to the connector. All downlights must be connected, as the system is switched in series. If the connector contains more holes than the amount of installed downlights, please place a jumper (red loop) in the remaining opening(s). Jumpers will be provided in the box (depending on the amount of downlights and the type of connector).
- Now you can connect the driver to a 230V point. (INPUT). N = blue wire, L = brown wire. The main power switch has to be off the circuit beforehand. If you are connecting the downlights to the main current, please connect the driver’s INPUT with an on/off switch of the main current.
- The manual of the remote control can be found in the driver’s karton box. The remote control supplied as standard has already been paired with the transformer, insert the batteries into the remote control, the set is now ready for use.
- Optionally, the set can be expanded with a remote controller or wall dimmer.
- If the LED driver is installed outdoors, it must be placed in a water and moisture proof housing. The recessed downlights can only be used as a recessed downlight in a covered area.
- If there are multiple LED drivers required, make sure that the inbetween distance is not more than 40 cm.
WHAT IN BOX
WARRANTY
We guarantee the usability and quality of our products. Therefore, we offer a two-year warranty for the downlights and two years for the LED driver. This warranty applies malfunctions resulting from production errors. Damage or malfunctions resulting from improper or incorrect use is not part of the warranty. For use outside the Netherlands, the buyer is resposible for verifiying whether the product is suitable for use there and whether the product meets all requirements.
STANDARD REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is taught-in as standard from factory setting and does not
have to be registered on the transformer. Insert the supplied batteries into
the remote control, which is now ready for use. Below you will find the
functions of the remote control.
- SET – Pairing with driver
- ON – Turn on
- OFF – Turn off
- Brightness (+) – Gradually increase brightness
- Brightness (-) – Gradually decrease brightness
- Step Brightness (+) – Brightness in steps 10%, 30%, 70%, 100%
- Step Brightness (-) – Brightness in steps 10%, 30%, 70%, 100%
- Mode – Brightness 100%
- Night light – Brightness 10%
- DIY1/DIY2 – Congure DIY modus
- Delay – Turn off after 30 seconds
Pairing Remote Control
- Disconnect the power of the driver
- Press and hold the SET button
- Connect power to the driver
- Release the SET button as soon as the lights flicker
- Press the Mode button 4 times repeatedly

relevant regulations and directives applicable to all member states of the
European Union. The product complies with all applicable regulations and rules
in the country of sale.
Formal documentation such as the declaration of conformity, the safety data
sheet and the product test report is available upon request.

INTENDED USE / APPLICATION
Product designed for the use in households and for other similar general applications.
MOUNTING
Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. Any activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Product has a protective contact/terminal. Failure to connect the protective lead may lead to electric shock. Mounting diagram: see pictures. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use. The product can be connected to a supply network which meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. To maintain the proper IP protection level, the right diameter of the power cable should be selected for the cable gland used in the product.
FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
The product can be used indoors and outdoors.
USAGE GUIDELINES / MAINTENANCE
Any maintenance work must be performed when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents. Do not cover the product. Ensure free air access. Product may heat up to a higher temperature. Product can only be supplied by rated voltage or voltage within the range provided. It’s forbidden to use the product with damaged protective cover. Product must not be used in unfavourable conditions, e.g. dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes, etc. Non-demountable product. Not suitable for independent repairs.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Keep your environment clean. Segregation of post-packaging waste is recommended. This labelling indicates the requirement to selectively collect waste electronic and electrical equipment. Products labelled in this way must not be disposed of in the same way as other waste under the threat of a fine. These products may be harmful to the natural environment and health, and require a special form of recycling/neutralising. Products labelled in this way should be returned to a collection facility for waste electrical and electronic goods. Information on collection centres is provided by local authorities or sellers of such goods. Used items can also be returned to the seller when new product is purchased, in quantity no larger than the purchased item of the same type. The above rules regard the EU area. In the case of other countries, regulations in force in a given country must be applied. Contacting the distributor of our products in a given area is recommended.
