Download our app and create your profile in order to see the data we gather. The Moggie app is available for free for Android and iOS:

How to use your device

Connect your activity tracker and hub using the Moggie app in 4 steps:

  • Plug in your devices
    Plug in your hub to a power source using the cable provided. Make sure the activity tracker is charged and close by. The hub must be left connected at all times.

  • Connect hub
    Follow the instructions on the app. Moggie works with wifi networks on 2.4Ghz frequency. Most modern routers allow you to create a secondary 2.4GHz network.

  • Connect the wearable
    After connecting the hub, connect the wearable activity tracker following the instructions on the app.
    You can repeat this process for any other cats you have.

  • Attach to cat’s collar
    Attach the activity tracker to the cat’s collar using the hook and loop fastening strap provided.

Safety Guide

Please read all safety instructions before plugging in your Moggie devices. Moggie LTD. and its suppliers assume no responsibility for any damage or loss resulting from the use of this guide.

General Safety instructions
Please note that Moggie is a wearable activity tracking device with complicated technology inside. Keep the device out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose any of the parts to excess moisture or immerse it in water.

Safety instructions for using the hub
CAUTION : Misuse of the charger may result in an electric shock. The hub must be checked regularly for conditions such as damage to the cord, plug, casing and other components that may result in the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons. The hub must not be cleaned with liquids. The hub must be disconnected from power before cleaning.

  • The hub is not a toy and should therefore only be handled by adults. This is under the full responsibility of the parents.
  • When connecting it to the outlet, please ensure that the plug is close enough and easy to reach. The hub is a passive component and is only to be used with the Moggie activity tracker.
  • As with all electric products, precautions should be observed during handling and use to prevent electric shock.
  • We are not responsible for the operation of third-party accessories or their compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Risks
Risks for children and people in need of care
The use of this device is not intended for people (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or lack of knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety.

Risks for pets
The Moggie activity tracker might be too large or heavy for small or injured pets. If you are unsure whether you can use this device with your pet, we highly recommend consulting a veterinarian.

Battery

  • Your Moggie activity tracker is operated by a non-removable, rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Replacement of the batteries by the user is not permitted and opening the device will void its warranty.
  • Batteries may not be disassembled, thrown into fire or short-circuited.
  • Never expose the activity tracker or hub device to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like!
  • Only use the charging cable that came with your device.

WARNING : The charger cord could pose a strangulation and/or choking hazard for pets or small children.

If the cord is damaged, replace it with another USB-C cord and dispose of it in accordance with your local electric product recycling regulations.
CAUTION : Routinely check the activity tracker for proper and safe condition. If there is any damage or broken parts, do not use the device any longer.

Electromagnetic compatibility
Very strong magnetic fields (e.g. transformers) should always be avoided as this may result in variations in the transmission. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to malfunctions or damage to your device.

Modification
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the grantee of this device could void the user’s authority to operate the device. Hereby, “Moggie LTD” declare that the radio equipment type “Moggie Activity Tracker” is in compliance with Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and Radio Equipment Regulations 2017(S1 2017/1206)

WARNING : All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, removable tags and desiccant are not part of this toy and should be discarded to ensure pet and children safety.

Waste disposal
Our products are designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components that are recyclable and reusable. This symbol means that electrical and electronic products must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of their useful life. Please follow the applicable recycling regulations in your area of residence when disposing of your old device and do your part to preserve the environment in which we live. Batteries are hazardous waste. For the correct disposal of batteries, follow your local recycling regulations.

Warranty

This product is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. During this period, any defect arising due to manufacturing, the unit will be replaced free of charge (where possible). In the case the product is no longer available, an alternative product will be offered. Do not return your product without prior authorization from Moggie LTD.
