Product Information
- The Truckrun eBike Systems user manual provides detailed instructions for the safe operation of the electric bicycle.
- The display is a key component for operating the bike and monitoring riding conditions.
Product Usage Instructions
- User settings are divided into normal and advanced settings. Normal settings include km/mile, speed limit, and backlight brightness. Advanced settings include wheel diameter, automatic power-off time, and total gear level.
- The display shows power, riding mode, speed, single range, total range, error codes, and more.
- The display features a mode key, add key, and minus key. The mode key is at the top, followed by the add key and then the minus key.
- Ensure the display is securely connected to the controller and turn on the electric vehicle.
- To power on, press and hold the MODE button. To power off, long-press the MODE button. It is recommended to remove the battery if the electric car will not be used for more than 4 hours.
- After powering on, simultaneously press the add and minus keys to enter general settings. Switch between km/mi by short pressing the +/- keys.
- After selecting the unit system, press MODE to enter the backlight brightness settings. Use the +/- keys to adjust brightness within the range of 1-8.
- After adjusting the backlight brightness, use the MODE key to set the automatic power-off time. Adjust with +/- keys within the range of 0-60 minutes.
About The User Manual
Dear users, please drive the electric bicycle safely. The display is one of
the components for you to operate the electric bicycle and master the riding
state. Please read the instruction manual carefully before using it. Knowing
its materials, installation, setup, adjustment, maintenance, and normal use of
the display is very important, I wish you a pleasant trip. For your driving
safety, please stop before you do the display settings.
Main Material and IP Standard
The product cover is made of black/white PC1414 material, the display screen
is made of acrylic white transparent, the button is made of silicone rubber,
and the display cover needs to be operated at a temperature of 25 ° C for 80 °
C to ensure its mechanical strength. Ingress protection: 1P65.
Settings
- User settings are divided into normal settings and advanced settings.
- Normal setting items: km/mile, speed limit, backlight brightness.
- Advanced setting items: wheel diameter, automatic power off time, total gear level.
- The general setting items can be set directly by the user; the advanced setting items are generally set before leaving the factory and cannot be modified at will, otherwise, it will affect the speed measurement accuracy and riding status.
Display Content
- The contents in the display are power display, riding mode, riding speed, riding single range, cycling total range, and electronic control system error code, as shown below:
Button Definition
- The display is equipped with a dedicated one-piece key, 3 keys are installed on the left side of the display, the shape and location of which are as follows:
- In the following instructions, the top button is replaced by “MODE”, the middle button by, the middle button by “+”, and the bottom button by “-“.
Preparation
- Make sure the display is firmly connected to the controller and turn on the power of the electric vehicle.
Power on and Power off
- Press the “MODE” button long enough to power on. Same way Press the “MODE” key to turn the system off.
- Recommendation: If you do not use an electric car for more than 4 hours, please take the battery off the electric vehicle and store it properly.
Kilometer/Mile Setting
- After powering on, hold the “+’ and “‘ keys at the same time. After 2 seconds, you will enter the general settings. First set the KM / Mi Unit. Short press the ‘+’ or ‘ key to switch km / Mi. The setting interface is as below:
Backlight Settings
- After selecting the KM/ Mile System, short press the “MODE” key to enter the backlight brightness settings, Short Press the” + ” key to increase backlight brightness, and Short Press the”-” key to reduce backlight brightness. Setting range: 1-8. The setting interface is as below:
Automatic Power off Setting
- After selecting the backlight brightness, press the ” MODE” key to enter the automatic power-off time setting.
- Press the “+” button to increase the automatic power-off time.
- Press the “_” button to reduce the automatic power-off time.
- Setting range: 0-60; unit: minute.
- When the bike does not have any action within the set time range, the display will automatically shut down and cut off the display itself and the controller’s power.

Note: If the automatic power-off time is set to 0, it means that the power will not be cut off automatically, it must be shut down manually.
Total Level Setting

After setting the automatic power off time, short press the “MODE” key to enter the gear levels settings, short press the”+” key to increase the level, and short press the”” key to reduce.

The range: 2-9. After selecting the total number of gears, short press the “MODE” key to exit the advanced settings, and the display will automatically save the settings parameters. The setting interface is as below:

Attention: 0 gear is not included in the total number of gears. If the gear level is 5 the actual gear is 0,1,2,3,4,5.

After setting the parameter, the display needs to restart to take the settings into effect.
Wheel Size Setting
- After setting the gear, shortly click” MODE” to enter the wheel size setting.click “+” to add wheel size and click” -” to reduce wheel size.The range of the wheel size is from 8- 32. Unit.inch. The setting interface is shown as below.
Speed Limit Setting
- After setting the right wheel size, shortly click “MODE” to enter the speed limit setting.
- Click “+” to increase the speed limits and click” -” to reduce the speed limit.
- Range of speed limit: 15kmh to 50Km/H(10-32 miles/H). The setting interface is as below:
Attention: When the running speed of the bicycle is beyond the limit. The motor output power continues to decline. For the sake of safety, please keep the speed limit below 25km/h.
Switch Gear and Assisting Mode
- Switchgear: click “+” to add gear level and “-” to reduce gear level.
- Enter and exit assisting mode: keep the motor on hold on the “-” button for 2 seconds to enter pushing assistance mode. Release the “” button it will back to the cycling gear level.
Turn on/ off the Rear light
- Keep motor power on, hold “+” 2 seconds to turn on the rear light, and hold ” +” 2 seconds again to turn off the light. If the bicycle is installed with a headlight, it will be turned on/off with the rear light.
Single Riding Range Clearance
- Keep the motor on, and hold the “MODE” and “_” for 2 seconds at the same time to clear the Riding range.
Switch of Single Range and Total Running Range

Keep the motor on, and click the “MODE” button to switch the single running range and total running range. The interface of a single running range is shown as below:

Battery Status
- The remaining battery capacity and corresponding capacity are as follows:
Error Code Display
- When the electric control system of the e-bike meets problems, The display will show the Error code.

Attention: Only after solving the failure, the display will exit the
error code interface.
Please cut off the power when you meet the failure and wait for the trouble to
be solved before you ride.

- Q: Can advanced settings be modified by the user?
- A: Advanced settings are usually set by the factory and should not be modified by the user to avoid affecting speed measurement accuracy and riding status.
- Q: Why can’t the display be turned on?
- A: Please check if all the connectors are connected properly and check if the battery switch is on.
- Q: How to handle the display failure code?
- A: Please refer to the error code to solve the corresponding failure. If the failure can not be handled by yourself, please go to the maintenance station to fix it in time.
Warranty
Quality Commitment and Warranty Coverage
The warranty period is limited for any failure caused by quality problems under normal use. The situation as follows are not covered by warranty:
- After the display leaves the factory, the display cover is scratched or damaged.
- The display cable is scratched or broken.
- Failures and damages caused by force majeure, including fire, flood, earthquake, and lightning strikes.
- Expired the warranty period(18 months from the date of delivery)
