Maintenance and Charging

Product Introduction

Store at room temperature. Type-C charging at normal voltage. If not used for a long time, charge the keyboard every 2 months or so.

Switching on and off

  • Dial to “Green” to power on
  • Dial to “Red” to power off

Wireless Connection

  1. Slide the power switch to green. The power indicator light will be red for 1 second and then go out the pairing indicator light will be flashing blue.

  2. Go to the “Settings” app on your tablet, click “Connections”, then click “Bluetooth”, and open “Bluetooth”.

  3. Click on “HOU Keyboard” in “Available devices”, enter the window, and click “Pairing”. The blue light remains on when pairing is successful.

  • Note: 1. After successful pairing, the next time you use the keyboard will automatically connect to the tablet.

Key Backlight

  1. Turn on backlight / Off backlight / Backlight brightness adjustment: Press Icon to turn on the first level backlight, then press second level, then press third level, and then press to turn off the backlight, and so on.
  2. Backlight color switching: Press the combination keys Icon +Icon to switch the backlight color.
  3. Under no operation mode, the backlight automatically turns off for 6 seconds. Backlight automatically turns off after 6 seconds in no operation mode.

Status Indicators and Other Instructions

  1. Low battery status: red light blinking.
  2. Charging: red light is always on.
  3. Fully charged: green light is always on.
  4. Requesting pairing: blue light blinks.
  5. Upper case: white light is always on, lower case: white light is off.
  6. Hibernate: Keyboard enters hibernate mode after 10 minutes of standby.
  7. After hibernation back to connect: press any key back to connect.
  8. Most of the unknown reasons for the use of the malfunction can be solved by restarting the keyboard or tablet.
