our device does not work in the Dominican Republic at this time however we can working to expand to more countries. You can visit tackgps.app/support for the full list of supported countries.

Can I use a tello sim/cell service for this gps?

our device works on the LTE-M network for IoT devices and these SIMs are typically not sold directly to consumers. Also our subscription is really affordable starting from USD2.99 per month and its the most competitive in the market today.

Does the tracker work in all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii ?

The Tack GPS tracker works on the AT&T & T-mobile/Sprint LTE-M networks. So yes it will work everywhere in the US as long as there is AT&T or T-mobile/Sprint LTE-M network coverage. You can check out AT&T coverage below:

Does it work in Kenya?

unfortunately, the device doesn’t work in Kenya at the current time.

Do I need to subscribe to get the tracking updates?

Yes, our device connects to the cellular network directly to send tracking updates. The device ships with a SIM card inside and mobile data charges are included in our subscription fees.

I’m having a hard time setting up an account in the app, it keeps saying that my password does not meet the credentials. Any advice?

a valid pass word should consist of only alphanumeric characters (at least 8 characters), with at least 1 upper/ lower case alphabets, and at least 1 number. Please do not use special characters in the password fields too.

what are the fees?

our fees starts from USD2.99/month for a 2 years plan to 3.99/month for a monthly plan. You may refer to the amazon product page for more details.

i powered on, and scanned the code and though we are located in the US it says in the app that we are somewehre in sinaapore… How can it fix?

on the first time you power up the device, it might take a few tries for the device to search for the new network in USA to register the mobile network on. You can simply press the orange button once to restart the network search after the LED lights goes out. If you additional troubleshooting you may reach us at www.tackgps.app/support. Please provide the serial number of the device and we will take it from there.

How could this be concealed on a bike to be used as an anti-theft tracking device?

we are currently in the final stages of finalising our bike mount (doubles up as a bike reflector) for production. This would conceal the tracker fully inside the bike mount. We expect this to be available from the end of the 2021. For now, the best way to conceal this would be to mount it under the seat.

Can i get a monthly subscription for this device if i don’t have sprint, tmobile, or at &t for my cell phone service?

Yes you can. the device has its own SIM card inside that works on AT&T, Sprint and T-mobile network. Your cell phone service can be from any provider since we will manage the subscription service for the tracker separately.

Will this work in Jamaica?

unfortunately our device does not work in Jamaica at this time.

This works in Costa Rica?

Sorry our device doesn’t work in Costa Rica at this point.
