Product Usage Instructions

Installation on Door

1. Use the provided template to locate holes in the door and frame.
2. Drill 1/8 pilot holes for the self-tapping screws.
3. Determine the door width and adjust the spring power of the closer using the power adjustment chart.
4. Fasten the closer body to the frame with the power adjustment nut away from the hinge.
5. Attach the slide track to the door face with the open side facing up and the hold open stop end towards the hinge angle.
6. Slide the stop only/hold open stop up against the slider insert and tighten it down with a set screw.

Installation on Pocket Wall

1. Use the template to locate mounting holes on the pocket wall and mount the closer according to the pull-side application template.
2. Drill 1/8 pilot holes for the self-tapping screws.
3. Adjust the spring power of the closer based on the power adjustment chart.
4. Attach the closer body to the door with the power adjustment nut away from the hinge.
5. Secure the slide track to the pocket wall face with the open side facing down and the hold open stop end away from the slide insert.
6. Open the door to the required opening angle, then slide the stop only/hold open stop up against the slider insert and tighten it down with a set screw.

INSTALL TRACK ARM – PULL SIDE MOUNTING APPLICATION (RIGHT HAND SHOWN) 120°

Installation Sequence:

1. Use the template to locate holes in the door and frame. Drill 1/8″ pilot holes for the self-tapping screws.
2. Determine door width, adjust spring power of closer by above list power adjustment chart.
3. Fasten the closer body to the door with the power adjustment nut away from the hinge.
4. Fasten the slide track to the frame face with the open side facing down and hold the open clip end toward the hinge edge of the door.
5. Place the arm to closer at pre-load position of 45° from the door frame.
6. Secure the arm with an arm washer and arm screw.
7. Secure the other end of the slide arm to track by screwing it to the slide insert. Open the door to the required opening angle. Then slide stop only/hold open stop up against slider insert and tighten down the stop only/hold open stop via set screw.

INSTALL TRACK ARM – PULL SIDE (TOP JAMB) MOUNTING APPLICATION (RIGHT HAND SHOWN) 120°

Installation Sequence:

1. Use the template to locate holes in the door and frame. Drill 1/8″ pilot holes for the self-tapping screws.
2. Determine door width, and adjust the spring power of the closer referencing the power adjustment chart.
3. Fasten the closer body to the frame with a power adjustment nut away from the hinge.
4. Fasten the slide track to the door face with the open side facing up and hold the open stop end toward the hinge edge of the door.
5. The place is closer to the pre-load position of 45° from the door frame.
6. Secure am with an arm washer and arm screw.
7. Secure the other end of the slide arm to track by screwing it to the slide insert. Open the door to the required opening angle. Then slide stop only/hold open stop up against slider insert and tighten down the stop only/hold open stop via set screw.

INSTALL TRACK ARM – PUSH SIDE MOUNTING APPLICATION (LEFT HAND SHOWN) 90°

Installation Sequence:

1. Use the template above to locate mounting holes on the pocket wall and mount closer according to to pull pull-side application template. Drill 1/8″ pilot holes for the self-tapping screws.
2. Determine door width, and adjust the spring power of the closer by referencing the power adjustment chart.
3. Fasten closer to the door with a power adjustment nut away from the hinge.
4. Fasten the slide track to the pocket wall face with the open side facing down and hold the open stop end away from the hinge edge of door.
5. The place am closer at the pre-load position of 45° from the door frame.
6. Secure am with an arm washer and arm screw.
7. Push the the arm towards the door to pretension closer then secure another end of the slide arm to track by screwing it to the slide insert. Open the door to the required opening angle. Then slide stop only/hold open stop up against slider insert and tighten down the stop only/hold open stop visit screw.
