• Only use this product with the provided audio cable. If the cable gets damaged, use only high quality audio cable with 1/4” TS jack.
• Microphones are extremely moisture-sensitive. The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
• The product shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Open flame sources, such as candles, must not be placed near the product.
• This product is only suitable for use in moderate climates. Do not use it in tropic or in particularly humid climates.
• Lay out the cable in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible. Do not squeeze, bend or in any way damage the cable.
• Unplug the product while it is not in use.
• Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.

Intended use

• This product is a cardioid microphone. Cardioid microphones record sound sources that are directly in front of the microphone and dismisses unwanted ambient sounds. It is ideal for recording podcasts, talks, or game streaming.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.

Before first use

• Check for transport damages.

Assembly

• Plug in the XLR connector (C) into the microphone slot. Subsequently, plug in the TS jack into the sound system.

Operation

7.1 Turning on/off

NOTICE | Always turn off the product before connecting/disconnecting the audio cable.

D To turn on: Set the I/O slider to | position.
D To turn off: Set the 1/0 slider to O position.

7.2 Tips

• Aim the microphone toward the desired sound source (such as speaker, singer, or instrument) and away from unwanted sources.
• Place the microphone as close as practical to the desired sound source.
• Place the microphone as far as possible from a reflective surface.
• Do not cover any part of the microphone grille with your hand, as this adversely affects microphone performance.

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING Risk of electric shock!

• To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.
•  During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

8.1 Cleaning

• To clean, unscrew the metal grille from the product and rinse it with water. A toothbrush with soft bristles may be used to remove any persistent dirt.
• Let the metal grille air-dry before screwing it back onto the product.
• To clean the product, gently wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

8.2 Maintenance

• Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging.
• Avoid any vibrations and shocks.
