Warnings and Safety Instructions

  1. Please read all sections of this manual carefully before using the device for the first time.
  2. Do not open the top cover of the power supply. The on-board electronic components generate high-voltages which are hazardous. A power supply should be opened only by an authorised engineer.
  3. If you do open the power supply the seal will be damaged, this will void the warranty.
  4. Never handle the power supply with wet hands
  5. Never insert objects into the holes/fan of the power supply
  6. Note that this power supply is designed for use indoors only. Using the device outdoors can cause serious damage to the power supply
  7. Do not handle the power supply while it is connected to a power socket
  8. Make sure your PC is not near a heater or any ther heat source. This could reduce the lifetime of the power supply and may lead to failures
  9. Make sure your computer case has adequate ventilation. Maximise cooling through additional fans, otherwise the power supply will evacuate the total heat produced in the PC case and this will also shorten the lifetime of power supply
  10. If you want to clean your power supply, remove it completely from the mains and do not use wet rags or detergents, clean the power supply only with a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner

Connector Descriptions

Installation Instructions

Please read the “Warning and safety instructions” before operation. Please mount the power supply as following:

  1. Mount the power supply to the PC case with screws
  2. Connect the 24pins cable to the motherboard. For more details, please see the instructions of the motherboard. Make sure that you connect to 20pins cable combined with the 4pins cable (total 24 pins)
  3. If the motherboard only has 20pin connector, please connect the 20pins cable to the motherboard
  4. Next, connect the 4pin connector (12v for CPU, not the 4pins connector beside the 20pins connector) to the motherboard (some old motherboards don’t need this connector)
  5. When your motherboard has two CPUs installed. Please connect another 4pins connector to the motherboard

Please see the manual of the motherboard for more information. Not all motherboards provide 4+4pins connectors for double CPUs

Connection of internal components

  1. Connect your internal components such as CD, DVD, hard disk, graphic card with their corresponding cable
  2. Please refer to the instructions of those components before installation
  3. Before connecting the power cord of the power supply, check those cables again to make sure they are connected safely and correctly

This product is designed for computer usage only, using this device in any other application will void the warranty, if you are not familiar with computer hardware installation, please seek professional assistance.

This warranty only applies to damages caused through normal use and is void if it is determined that the device was damaged because of abuse, alteration, misuse, negligence, incorrect voltage supply, air/water pollution, accidents and natural disasters.

Troubleshooting

If your system does not turn on after installing the power supply, follow the troubleshooting guide as listed below:

  1. Please make sure the main power is connected on correctly.
  2. Please make sure the P1 and P2 connectors are connected correctly to the motherboard.
  3. If the power supply does not work properly, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
