Product introduction

This product is a Thunderbolt 3 adapter to Dual Displayport v 1.2 adapter, that let you use two 4K60hz display or one 5K60Hz display.

Product overview

NOTE: Your computer must support Thunderbolt 3 in order to work with this adapter. While Thunderbolt 3 utilizes the USB-C connector, not all USB-C connectors support Thunderbolt 3. Please check the specifications of your computer system to confirm which USB-C ports on your computer support Thunderbolt 3.

Dual 4K Monitor Installation

1. Connect the built-in Thunderbolt 3 cable to a Thunderbolt 3 enabled USB-C port on you computer.
2. Connect a DisplayPort cable (not included) to each of the adapter’s DisplayPort output ports and to each of your DisplayPort monitors.
3. Your computer will detect each of the newly connected monitors and interact with them.

Remark

Please check if you have the latest drivers, Intel Thunderbolt 3 driver and BIOS version for your PC/laptop system, otherwise please go to the official website of your PC/laptop for system check and update.

Check BIOS version

Please press “windows key” + “letter R” on your keyboard, and enter “dxdiag”; then you can check if your BIOS version is the latest on the pop-up menu. Otherwise please update from the official website of your laptop manufacturer.

DP video source from PC’s Thunderbolt 3 port

Some laptops only have one DP source; therefore, you can get one display when adapter connected. Please make sure your PC/Laptop supports two Display Port sources, However, contact your PC/Laptop manufacturer to know your computers spesifications.

5K Monitor Installation

1. Connect the built-in Thunderbolt 3 cable to a Thunderbolt 3 enabled USB-C port on you computer.
2. Connect a DisplayPort cable (not included) to each of the adapter’s DisplayPort output ports and to your 5K monitor’s DisplayPort input ports.
3. Your computer will detect the newly connected 5K monitor and interact with it.

NOTE: The adapter can support 5120 x 2880 (5K@60Hz) when both DP outputs are connected to a single monitor that supports 5K.
