Using the Headphones

Connect the connector plug of the included cable to the connector jack of the headphones. Do not use a cable other than the supplied detachable cable.
Lower the volume on your device and connect the ‘Input plug’ to the headphone jack.
Fit the earpads over your ears with the side marked L over your left ear and the side marked R over your right ear.
Turn on your audio device and adjust the volume as necessary. Refer to your audio device’s manual for additional instructions.

About the Detachable Cable
If there are signs of cable deterioration, replace the cable. Handle the detachable connector delicately to prevent malfunctions.

How to Replace the Detachable Cable

To detach the cable, hold the connector and pull straight out= in the direction indicated.
To attach the cable, plug the left or right connector in until it clicks securely in place.

The cable may become caught or severed if the product is placed in a bag without adequate protection.

Do not wrap the included cable around a rack, furniture or other object. Do not allow the cable to be pinched. This may damage or sever the cable.

Lengthening the headphone cable requires a separate extension cable available from your dealer.
Since natural wood may may deform or change color under the condition like a hot, humid, dry, ultraviolet (sunlight, fluorescent) environment, be careful in these environments.
The wooden housing may scratch or split if subjected to impact.
The pattern of the wood grain varies on the right and left because the product is made of natural wood, but this will not affect the performance.

Care
Get into the habit of regularly cleaning the product to ensure that it will last for a long time. Do not use alcohol, paint thinners or other solvents for cleaning purposes.

Use a dry cloth to clean the headphones.
Clean off the dust from the housing without wiping hard and then, wipe it with a dry cloth.
After using the included cable, clean it with a dry cloth if sweat or dirt is present. Failure to clean the cable may cause it to deteriorate and harden over time, resulting in malfunction.
Wipe the plugs on included cable with a dry cloth if dirty. Using the plug without cleaning it can cause sound skipping or distortion.
To clean the earpads and headband, wipe with a dry cloth. Earpads and headband may fade if sweat or water dries on them. If the earpads and headband get wet, we recommend wiping them with a dry cloth and allowing them to dry in the shade.
For long-time storage, keep the product in a well-ventilated place without high temperatures and humidity.
The earpads deteriorate over time due to use or storage. For information about replacing earpads or other parts, or for information about other serviceable parts, contact your local Audio-Technica dealer.
