Product Usage Instructions
Connection
We need a shielded wire and an ordinary wire (0.3-0.75 mm). Follow the connection diagram for the specific sampler you are using. Make sure to strictly follow the instructions provided in the manual.
Installation
- Open a round hole of 54.5mm on the panel of the equipment.
- Install the coulometer from the front of the panel.
- Tighten the bracket on the back to secure the coulometer in place.
Usage Instructions
- Connect and check the current: Power on after completing the connection. The screen should display the capacity percentage. If there is no response, check the connection. Charge or discharge the battery and verify if the displayed current matches the actual current. Check for any large deviations.
- Capacity reset: On first use, reset the capacity by discharging the battery totally or charging it fully and holding the key for 3 seconds to set the capacity to zero or full, respectively. This step may be needed when replacing the battery.
- Check and reset the actual capacity: If the displayed capacity does not match the actual capacity, discharge the battery totally and hold the key for 3 seconds to set the capacity to zero. Then set the capacity value as large as possible and charge the battery fully to determine the actual capacity.
FAQ
- Q: What should I do if the screen does not display the capacity percentage upon power on?
- A : In such cases, please double-check the connection following the provided instructions in the manual. Ensure all connections are secure and properly set up.
- Q: How do I know if the displayed current matches the actual current during battery charge or discharge?
- A: To verify this, charge or discharge the battery and compare the displayed current on the screen with the actual current being drawn or supplied by the battery.
- Q : When should I reset the capacity of the battery monitor?
- A : It is recommended to reset the capacity upon first use to ensure accurate readings. Additionally, you may need to reset the capacity when replacing the battery.

CONNECTION
We need a shielded wire and an ordinary wire (0.3-0.75 mm?). One end of the
ordinary wire connects to the positive of the battery, another end connects to
B+ of the sampler (any one is ok). The B- of the sampler connects to B- of the
battery. P- of sampler connects to P-of output. Finally, connect the sampler
to the coulometer by the shielded wire.(Notice: The diagram is not equal
proportion).

Attention: Please connect as shown strictly. The sampler must be connected to the negative circuit, it is forbidden to connect to the positive circuit. If you want to extend the shielded wire, you must use 4 lines of same specification.
INSTALLATION
First, open round holes of 54.5mm on the panel of the equipment. Then install the coulometer from the front of the panel. Finally, tighten the bracket on the back. As shown below:
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Connect and check the current: Power on after completing the connection as shown, and the screen should display the capacity percentage. If the screen has no response, please check the connection. Then charge or discharge the battery, and check whether the display current is equal to the actual current. If the deviation is large please check the connection.
- Capacity reset: On first use, the percentage and capacity are not the actual values you should reset the capacity: discharge the battery totally and hold the “ ” key for 3 seconds to set the capacity to zero or charge the battery fully and hold the “ ” key for 3 seconds to set the capacity full. And it doesn’t need to do this again later, except replace the battery.
- Check and reset the actual capacity: If you find the display capacity doesn’t match the actual capacity, please check and reset the actual capacity: discharge the battery totally and hold the “ ” key for 3s to set the capacity zero, then set the capacity value as large as possible. Then charge the battery fully, and the display capacity is the actual capacity. Finally set the display capacity as preset capacity (Please refer to use and setting).
OTHER DESCRIPTIONS
- When charging or discharging, the coulometer must be at work. Otherwise, the capacity will not be accurate.
- Connect the load, when the discharge current is higher than the backlight on current, the backlight on (if the backlight blinking, the RS+ and RS- are inverse), and display the discharge indicator, indicating the battery is discharging.
- Break the load, and connect the charger. When the charge current is higher than the backlight on current, the backlight blinks (if the backlight on, the RS+ and RS- are inverse), and displays a charge indicator, indicating the battery is charging.
- When the charge or discharge current is less than the backlight off current, the coulometer enters a low power state and backlight off. And TR16 can memorise the capacity.
- Because of high sensitivity, when the coulometer is in standby mode (the battery has no input or output current), if it is interfered by electromagnetic radiation (open or close inductive loads, such as the motor) nearly, the backlight will shortly open.
- When the current changes frequently the date acquisition may produce errors, and it will affect the accuracy.
