Instructions for the operation of the PQ9907S with delay and bonus

Features

Operating Instructions

  • ON/OFF
    Turn the clock on by inserting the battery and switching the <ON/OFF> button to “ON”; switching the <ON/OFF> to “OFF” the clock is turned off.

  • Positive timing
    When turned on, the screen displays “0:00 00”, it is a positive timing. [*] Adjust the ‹left/right> rocker switch so the side supposed to start corresponds to the upper side. Press< > briefly to start. The factory setting is no increment and the beeper turned off.

Countdown timing screen

  • same time for both players
    In the positive timing screen, press< > for 2 sec to enter the countdown setting state.
    The “hour” digit on the left starts to flash, press<+> or <-> to move up or down in steps of 1 until reaching the time required. Press< > briefly in order to switch to the minutes, then seconds. When going to the right side the time from the left is copied automatically. After moving through the right side you get to increment(first bonus, then delay) and finally the beeper. Another 2-second long pressing of < > ends the setting mode. Now start the clock as 3.2 [*].

  • different times for the players
    Same procedure as a with the only difference that now you change the time on the right. The setting is carried out as in a ., the game started as 3.2 [*].

Pause

  • While running, briefly press< >, press it again to continue.

Restart

  • Turning the clock off and on again with the < ON/OFF > button sets the clock back to the last time set. In order to get back to the factory setting briefly take out the battery.

Delay and Bonus

Bonus period

  • When the countdown time on the right side is set, press < start/pause/setting> shortly to switch to the “bonus” setting.
  • (The display shows the symbol “bonus”, indicating that the bonus setting period is active.) Maximum bonus period: 59 seconds. No bonus period if the bonus time to 0.

Delay period

  • When the right side bonus time is set, press < start/pause/setting> shortly to switch into/ “delay” setting display.
  • (The display shows the symbol “delay” “, indicating that the delay setting period is active.)
  • Maximum delay period: 59 seconds. No delay period if the delay time to 0

Bonus period & delay period special instruction:

  • Both bonus and delay’s factory settings will be 0, and only one mode will be used during the game.
  • When setting the timer, the delay period will be 0 if the bonus period is more than 0.
  • The bonus period will be 0 if the delay period is more than 0.

Alarm On/Off:

  • The user can turn on or off an audible alarm that will beep when one side of the clock has only three seconds of game time remaining.
  • (Count down mode only) After setting the delay time (if desired) pressing the [> Ill key will take you to the alarm option and 0 will flash on both sides of the timer.
  • To turn on the alarm (audible warning on the last three seconds of the time on both sides) change the flashing value to 1 using the [+] button.
  • To leave it turned off leave the values at 0.
  • The alarm can only be turned on and off in the setting mode and not in play mode.

Note: When the display is dim and pressing < left/right > does not work, the battery needs to be changed as soon as possible.

Maintenance

  • Keep away from the hot sun or high temperatures to avoid the displays turning black.
  • Keep away from corrosive liquids and sharp hard object impacts.
  • Keep away from high static objects, such as screens, etc.
  • When not using the clock for a longer period of time remove the battery.
