Important Safeguards
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:
Some pets may overfeed themselves when a food supply is made available to them.
- This product contains no user serviceable parts and requires little maintenance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified personnel only.
- Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
- Do not open the product housing. Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the housing.
- This product is not a toy and should not be used by children.
- Check the battery level regularly. Do not use the product with drained batteries. When the batteries drain during your absence, your pet is cut off from the food supply.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged or defective.
- Do not leave your pets unattended for an extended period of time.
- Replace the food in the tray regularly to avoid spoilage.
- To prevent damage to the product (and people around), do not place it in pathways and where it could cause a trip hazard.
- This product is not recommended for puppies or kittens less than 6 months old.
Battery Warnings

Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
The batteries are not included.
- Always insert batteries correctly with regards to polarity(+ and-) marked on the battery and the product.
- Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from product and properly disposed.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity(+ and -).
- Remove batteries from product that is not to be used for an extended period of time.
- Remove used batteries promptly.

Before First Use

Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Remove and review all components before installation.
- Check the product for transport damages.
- Clean the product before first use.
Disassembly/Assembly

Push the buttons of the cover release (A) and remove the cover (C).

Turn the tray (D) in an anti-clockwise direction and remove it.

Place the tray (D) on the housing (E). The pins must fit into the slices. The markings must face each other.

Secure the tray (D) by turning it slightly in a clockwise direction.

Push the buttons of the cover release (A) and place the cover (C) on the tray (D). The opening of the cover must fit around a section of the tray.
Operation
Inserting batteries
- Always insert batteries correctly with regards to polarities(+ and-) marked on the battery and the product.
- In order to guarantee a food supply, replace the batteries when the battery status indicator (G) starts to flash.
- Loose the screw of the battery compartment cover and remove it.
- Insert 3x AA/LRG batteries (not included) into the battery compartment (M).
- Close the battery compartment (M) and tighten the screw.
Switching on/off
- Open the control panel cover (B).
- To switch on: Press the ON/OFF button (K). The display (L) switches on.
- To switch off: Press the ON/OFF button (K). The display (L) flashes for 10 seconds and switches off.
Setting feeding interval
A feeding interval is a time period for which a section of the tray (D) stays opened. When the feeding interval elapses, the cover turns in an anti- clockwise direction and opens the next section of the tray (D).
The feeding interval can be set from 1 minute to 24 hours.
- Switch on the product.
- Press the SET button (J). The first setting flashes on the display (L).
Use the buttons SET (J), + (1) and – (H) to change the setting.

- To confirm the setting wait for 5 seconds without pressing any button. The display stops flashing.
- The display shows the remaining time until the next section of the tray (D) will be opened.
Filling in food
- Remove the cover (C). For convenience, you can remove the entire tray (D).
- Fill the sections of the container (D) with the desired pet food.
- Reassemble the product.
- Set the feeding interval.
- Close the control panel cover (B).
Cleaning And Maintenance
- Switch the product off before cleaning.
- During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
- Clean the product with warm soapy water on a weekly basis or after a whole round of serving is finished.
- Dry the product after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
- Do not wash any parts of this product in a dishwasher.
Storage
Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.
Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by an authorized service representative.
