INSTALLATION METHOD
ATTENTION: Fully charge the battery when using the camera for the first time.
APP REGISTRATION
Scan the following QR code or search for “UBox” from the App Store(for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android smartphones) to download and install the app.
Open the app input your E-mail address then press “Register”. Check and select to agree on the agreement then your E-mail box will get a verification code. ( For a better user experience, please allow to open all permissions to avoid missing any notifications from the app.)
4G CONNECTION
- Press ‘Add Family’ then set the room or position as per reminders.
- Enter your family name and then press “Next”.
- Input the necessary information just like Country and province, then press “Finish”.
Bluetooth Connection (4.4 – 4.8)
Tips: Before connecting, please turn on the Bluetooth of your smartphone
- Insert the SIM card into the device then put the battery into the device, and some models need to install the antenna.
- After powering the device, wait for about 1 minute, the device is LED lit at all times, then connect the camera.
- Click “Add a Device” to wait for the Bluetooth search camera. After the Bluetooth search is successful, Click “OK”. Set device info Click “Next”.
- APP will search the device on the internet it may take 5-60 seconds.
- If the connection is successful, press “OK” to complete the connection.
4G Connection (4.9 – 4.14)
- Click “Setup 4G Device” to enter the next step.
- If the device’s blue LED does not light up, please check below config notes below.
- Find the UID QR code on the device, then use the APP to scan the QR code.
- APP searches the device on the internet it may take 5-60 seconds.
- Select the name and device location then press “Next”.
- If the connection is successful, press “OK” to complete the connection.
DEVICE SETTING
Notes about PIR detection
- Users can change the PIR detection sensitivity in device settings. we recommend setting sensitivity at “Disabled” or “Low” to reduce false alarms and save battery power in noisy environments.
- Disabled: disabled PIR detection.
- Low: delay 7 seconds PIR detects a moving.
- Medium: delay 5 seconds PIR detects a moving.
- High: delay 1 second PIR detects a moving.
CONFIG NOTES

Question: The camera can’t rotate in any direction or wake up by PIR, only views the video via mobile phone remotely, it seems the battery is also full. Reason: The battery power is below the working voltage at some time, so the protection circuit turns off the power.

Action: Enable the protection circuit of the battery again: Use a Tpye-C Cable to recharge the camera with a DC 5V power supply of about 2s-5s, the camera will rotate again. (Only Type-C port can enable the protection circuit)

Please charge the battery fully before using the device. The battery life will be affected by the device’s wake-up time and the number of wake-ups. Therefore, the PIR sensor alarm detection function is used in an environment with a lot of people. It is recommended to turn off or set the device to low sensitivity to reduce wake-up and call times and extend battery life. When the battery is low, please charge the battery immediately.

It is a delicate device with a low power consumption design. Every time the device is awakened and will work for a few seconds. After that, the device will enter standby mode to save power. You can set the work time in the app settings.

Insert a 4G SIM card at first, then power on the camera. Suppose the red indicator of the 4G camera is light always.
Action: don’t worry, please check the “APN name, MNC, MCC” information on your mobile phone setting（access point, then contact the seller. we will verify whether this 4G signal of the local telecom operator matches the camera or not, then the seller will provide a solution for you.
