Test your batteries
Press and hold down the number “1” on your keypad. Make sure you see a solid green LED at the top of the remote.
If you do not see a green light, change the batteries in your remote. Here’s how:
- Remove the battery cover and insert two new AA batteries.
- Push and hold any button. If you see a solid green light at the top, your batteries are good.
- Press the GUIDE or MENU button to test your remote.
Remote not responding? Re-program it to RF Mode
Press and hold MUTE and ENTER buttons simultaneously while pointing the remote at your receiver. The following message should display: “Applying IR/RF set up. Please wait…..”
When pairing is successful, you’ll see: “Your remote is now set up for RF.”
Reset your receiver
Press and hold the red reset button, which is located on the front or the right side of your receiver. If you cannot locate the button, unplug the receiver’s power cord from the electrical outlet and wait 15 seconds before plugging it back in.
Replace your remote
If you see a solid red or green light that will not turn off, or a blinking red light when keys are pressed and your receiver is not responding to your remote control, order a replacement remote.
