Your Razer Blade has been designed to handle the most intensive games and tasks with ease. However, due to things like software issues, wear and tear, or even viruses, hiccups like freezing or locking up can still happen.
-
To prevent this, you should see to it that your version of Windows is always up-to-date. To do that, click the Start button, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, then select “Check for Updates”. For more information, visit Microsoft Support.
-
If your Razer Blade seems to freeze often, you may use Task Manager to observe what programs or processes may be causing it.
-
Once you have pinpointed the culprit program or process, right-click then select “End Task” to kill the process.
-
If you cannot access the Device Manager, you may try to force shut down the device by holding the power button for 3-5 seconds. Power on your device again and see if the issue persists.
-
Uninstall the app or program that you spotted earlier as the culprit behind the issue and see if the freezing persists.
-
Run your antivirus software and do a complete scan. Some viruses or spyware can cause performance issues. Windows Defender comes with Windows 10 out of the box. You may also use a third-party antivirus software if you have one, but make sure that it also runs regular updates.
-
If the above steps do not solve the issue, consider doing a system recovery or factory reset.
