What buttons can I register for macros on Razer mice?

You can set macros to reflect the majority of keyboard keys except for the Windows keys and enhanced function keys. Mouse button presses are not programmable to macros.

What is on-the-fly macro recording on Razer Mice and Keyboards?

On-the-fly macro recording allows users to record lengthy macros in the game, without having to access driver menus or other software. For example, you can hit the “Macro Record” key and input a sequence of multiple spells in “World of Warcraft” to a specified key. The same sequence of spells can then be executed automatically with the actuation of that one button.

Why does my Razer Lancehead TE Gunmetal or Mercury edition not show up in

Razer Synapse 3?

This issue was fixed with an update to Synapse. Ensure Synapse 3 is up to date.

My Razer mouse doesn’t work on my multi-colored mouse pad, what can I do?

This is a common issue for Razer mice with the calibration feature which is designed to function on a surface with a certain level of uniformity. You can either switch off the calibration feature or change to a non-multi colored mouse pad. You can check our mouse mats to find considerable options.

Check your mouse specs to know if it has the calibration feature and if the issue persists, contact our Online Chat Support.

I updated my windows and now Razer Synapse no longer detects my Razer

devices and it doesn’t show the correct product configurator. How can I fix it?

To display the Chroma SDK effects on your Razer Chroma Mouse, ensure that you have the latest MS Windows hotfix “Update for the Universal C Runtime in Windows” installed.

When I boot up my computer and log into windows, my Razer mouse is not

responding and requires to be unplugged or replug to work. How can I fix this?

The mouse is dependent on the motherboard. Check the power savings settings and disable it. Also, check the USB speed settings and set it to Full or Low- speed settings.

My Razer Chroma Mouse does not display the Chroma SDK effects when playing

supported games. How can I fix it?

To display the Chroma SDK effects on your Razer Chroma Mouse, ensure that you have the latest MS Windows hotfix “Update for the Universal C Runtime in Windows” installed.

How do I adjust the DPI setting of my Razer mouse?

You can do basic changes to the DPI of your Razer mouse by using the DPI buttons behind the scroller. Once you have installed Razer Synapse or 3.0, more DPI options will be available.

How do I get my Razer Lancehead to perform at the highest polling rate?

Ensure that your Razer Lancehead is set to 1,000 Hz in the Performance section within Razer Synapse 3. The Razer Lancehead has been tested in settings with multiple USB 2.0 wireless devices and performed well without any drop-off.

How do I use the “Surface Calibration” tool to adjust the mouse to my

specific mouse pad and gaming style?

The Auto-Calibration feature is available on specific models of Razer mice. The auto-calibration feature on the mouse is set to “ON” by default. When plugging your mouse into your system, your mouse should be sitting on the surface you want to use your mouse on for it to calibrate properly to that surface. The distance to which you want the mouse to cut off tracking is adjustable through the software package that comes with the mouse.

Note: Check first if your Razer mouse has the Surface Calibration feature before trying anything.

How does the 4G dual sensor system work?

The 4G Dual Sensor System calibrates to the specific characteristics of the surface to optimize the mouse’s tracking abilities to that specific surface and minimizes the amount of displacement caused by erratic movement when lifting and placing down the mouse on the surface. The distance from the surface that the mouse cuts off tracking is customizable to the level that the user is comfortable with through the software included with the mouse.

What is Hybrid On-board and Cloud Storage?

Hybrid On-board and Cloud Storage enable you to save your customized profiles not only onto the Cloud but also directly onto your Razer Basilisk as well, so you can access them easily even on computers that do not have Razer Synapse 3 installed or don’t have access to the Internet.

What is the button on the bottom of my Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition

for?

This button lets you cycle through up to four (4) on-board profiles stored on your Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition via the Hybrid On-board and Cloud Storage feature of the upcoming Razer Synapse 3.

Will my Razer USB peripheral work on a console (Xbox 360, PlayStation,

PS3, PS4, Xbox One)

Our computer USB products are designed for computer use and we don’t generally support using them on a console.

Can I individually set the color for each LED of the Razer Lancehead

Tournament Edition?

Yes, the LEDs of the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition can be customized individually via the “Advanced Chroma Configurator”.

How do I adjust the DPI setting?

Out-of-the-box, you can make basic changes to the DPI of your Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition on-the-fly via the DPI buttons located behind the scroll wheel. Once you have installed Razer Synapse or the upcoming Razer Synapse 3, you will have access to more DPI options. The Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition can track 1 DPI increments with a lift-off cut-off distance as precise as 0.1 mm.

My Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition is unable to function on white

surfaces.

You may have calibrated the mouse on a different surface. Click “Calibration” in Razer Synapse to recalibrate the mouse on the white surface or untick “ON” checkbox to disable Surface Calibration.

Updated firmware available for Razer Lancehead TE.

Razer has released a firmware update for the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition that addresses intermittent issues with the Turbo Speed assignments within Synapse and other intermittent issues when using it in a non-Synapse environment.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Download the latest firmware update by opening the link found above.
Connect the Razer Lancehead TE to your PC.
Launch the downloaded file and left-click the “Update” button.
Wait for the firmware updater to complete the update process.
You should see a confirmation message once the firmware update has been successfully applied.
