As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT force into outlet or try to modify to fit. WARNING TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

FAQS

is the shark navigator lift-away delux self propelled?

ANY vacuum with a beater brush can be adjusted to be easier to use on the carpet. Start with the cleaner on the carpet you want to clean, with the head raised as high as it will go. Turn it on and start to lower the brush head slowly, one click at a time. You will hear the tone change when the brush makes contact with the carpet. Drop it one or two more clicks until you hear the tone of the brush head get noticeably lower as it pushes hard against the carpet. Then take it back up one click. That will be an optimal height for cleaning and the brush head will actually help propel the unit as you clean; more of an assist vs. self propelled

Does the pet hair power brush actually spin when it comes in contact with upholstery? Others just stop spinning when they touch resistance?

This vacuum in 2019 does NOT come with the pet attachment. It just has a flat upholstery attachment that doesn’t rotate.

Will the 360 work on thick pile carpeting?

It does not work well at all on thick pile carpet. While there is an air flow adjustment and it helps a little it’s not enough. Our think pile run in our bedroom is impossible to vacuum with this thing.

How do you lift away just the canister part?

There is a red release button on the side of the machine toward the bottom. Push it and it comes right apart. It sets back in just as easily.

Can this be used for multiple surfaces?

Yes! We use it on hardwood, as well as carpet. You have to turn off the spin brush though when using it on hard surfaces, or crumbs go flying.

Does it stand up alone?

Yes, it stands on its own

Would wrapping duct tape around the pet power brush keep it from falling off? Anyone tried?

Don’t know what mean about fall off if the bearings are shot on end and the belt only thing is holding it is the belt and cover? You need a new brush.

Does it adjust for carpet heights?

Does any shark upright vacuum have a “beater” action for carpets?

Yes shark navigator

What kind of filter does this have?

It has a HEPA Filter. It is bagless and has a canister that you empty.

How does the brush stop for wood floors? Is there a switch?

The on/off switch controls that. It has two positions, first one is for wood floors, second activates the brush.

Does this have a light?

if you’re asking if it has headlights when it is turned on, the answer is no.

does it beat the carpet or just suck?

This is the great thing about the vacuum. You have the option to have it just use the suction (for non carpeted areas)or you can turn in the brush part on for carpet. So yes, it does beat the carpet when you turn the switch to that option.

What is the vacuum cleaning path of this item?

It’s nearly a foot wide path.

What is the width of the base?

Cleaning Path Width: 9.5 inches
