Disconnect power before installing or servicing this product. A qualified service person must install and service this product according to applicable electrical and plumbing codes. as to prevent moisture from entering or accumulating within boxes, conduit bodies, fittings, float housing, or cable -

Do not use this product with flammable liquids. Do not install in hazardous locations as defined by the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.

MAIN DISCONNECT AND OVERCURRENT PROTECTION OF INCOMING FEEDER CIRCUIT PROVIDED BY OTHERS. THE TEMPERATURE RATING OF FIELD-INSTALLED CONDUCTORS MUST BE AT LEAST 140 DEG. F (60 DEG. C). TERMINAL STRIPS AND GROUND LUGS USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY. DASHED LINES REPRESENT FIELD WIRING.

Installation Instructions
This alarm system monitors liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural, and other water applications. The CSION 4X indoor/outdoor alarm system can sere as a high or low-level alarm depending on the float switch model used. The alarm horn sounds when a potentially threatening liquid-level condition occurs. The horn can be silenced, but the alarm beacon remains active until the condition is remedied. Once the condition is cleared, the alarm will automatically reset.

Mount the alarm enclosure using existing upper and lower mounting tabs

Install fl oat switch at the desired activation level.

Installation with standard pre-wired power cord and prewired float switch :

Plug the 120 VAC power cord into a 120 VAC receptacle on a separate branch circuit from the pump circuit to ensure proper notification.

Installation with conduit installed: Bring float switch and power cable through conduit and wire to 10 position terminal block. Connect the ground wire to ground termination post.
NOTE: Seal the conduit to prevent moisture or gas from entering the enclosure. -
Restore power and check alarm operation after installation (high-level application shown).

Test the alarm weekly to ensure proper operation.
