CONNECTIONS
USB to PC
Use only the USB cable (E) packaged with the CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit
to avoid damage to the USB port. Connect the CSL Elite Pedals LC either to a
Fanatic’s Wheel Base by RJ12 or to PC by USB but never both ways at the same
time to avoid damages!
Club Sport Handbrake
Always connect the Club Sport Handbrake to the CSL Elite Pedals LC before connecting the pedals to Wheel Base or to PC!
RJ12 to Wheel Base Port: PEDAL
Use only the RJ12 cable packaged with the CSL Elite Pedals (optional) to avoid
damage to the RJ12 port.
Connect the CSL Elite Pedals LC to a Fanatic’s Wheel Base only (not compatible
to Clubs port USB Adapter).

– 3x Anti-skid stickers for pedal plates (I)

– Mounting screws, nuts and washers (K)

MANUAL

ASSEMBLY
Put together the pedal unit ‘loadcell brake’ (B) with heel rest of original CSL Elite Pedals (optional). Avoid clamping the cables of the pedal units!!
Align the poles of the pedal unit with the holes of the heel rest to find the correct positions.
Try different positions for the pedal units to find your favorite adjustment.
Insert the M8 screws with washer (K) from top side through the heel rest and pedal units, counter with washer and nut (K) from bottom side. Tighten the assembly by using the Allen Key 6 mm and the wrench 13 mm from original CSL Elite Pedals package content. When done insert the slot cover into the heel rest.
Remove the original CSL Elite Pedals electronics module by loosening the four small screws on the sides with Allen Key 2 mm (C). Insert the CSL Elite Pedals LC electronics module (A) from Loadcell Kit package content and mount it with the four small screws and Allen Key 2 mm (C).
Connect the RJ12 plugs of the pedal unit cables to the corresponding port
Adjust the brake stiffness by arranging the different elastomer springs (F) –
(H) on the back side brake rod according to your setup and favor.
The brake rod takes five pieces of elastomer springs plus the required soft
yellow spring. Please refer to table of this Quick Guide for correct setup!
The elastomer springs must not be compressed more than 40% of their length so do not put more load on them than listed in table! If mixing brake springs with different hardness on the brake rod the maximum load is defined by the spring with lowest shore value!
Replace the brake limiter pad at the backside of the clutch pedal unit (former CSL Elite Pedals brake) by clutch limiter pad (J) from CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit package content
Store Allen Keys and wrench safely for later use

Please download and install the latest software’s for your system from
www.fanatec.com/downloads:
– PC driver: install before connecting the CSL Elite Pedals LC first time to
your PC by USB or through Wheel Base.
– Wheel Base firmware: install before connecting the CSL Elite Pedals LC first
time to your Wheel Base.
– CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit firmware: install latest firmware to get the
best functionality
