Helping everyone to ‘get out and do’ is the reason why Barrel Point Surf (BPS) / Surf and Snow Warehouse exists. We are all about helping make water sports accessible, wherever you are in the world. Say yes to barrels, not barriers.
Thank you for your purchase of ‘ BPS SECOND SKIN FIN SOCKS ’ from our store. As a small family business, we genuinely appreciate it!
WELCOME TO YOUR ‘BPS SECOND SKIN FIN SOCKS
Here are some instructions on getting the most out of your socks:
ADJUSTABLE ANKLE STRAPS
Both the High Cut and Low Cut socks have a strap around the ankle. This ensures a good fit and that it will not feel like it will come off. Once on your feet just attach the Velcro to seal the top of the sock around your ankle.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR SOUL!
Both styles have a fully flexible sole for a great ‘foot feel’ when being used. But for this to happen the sole is not rigid enough to handle walking on asphalt or concrete for very long; to keep your socks feeling super comfortable just put them on once at the beach or river or Lake. If you do want to walk on asphalt or concrete – we recommend a dive boot or shoe w/ a fully ridged rubber sole (not so good for ‘foot feel’).
WASHING AND DRYING YOUR SOCKS
When washing your socks, be sure to turn them inside out. Do not use hot water. Cold washes with mild detergent and wash as ‘delicate’ as they are easy to clean. Avoid any harsh cleaning agents and do not dry clean them. The socks are quick to dry so please just air dry. Avoid hot tumble drying and ring drying at all costs to ensure a long life for your socks.
I really hope these instructions have been helpful. Please know that we are also an email away for any other questions you may have with your BPS ‘Second Skin’ socks. Thank you and see you on the water!
All the best,
Blair
