Unplug vacuum

Run hand along entire length of power cord, it should be smooth

Check plug for damage
- If either the cord (not smooth or exposed wires) or plug (prongs) are damaged, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Check to see if outlet is working:
- Test this by plugging in a cell phone charger or small appliance
- If no power to outlet, test a different outlet in a separate room
- Reset circuit breaker if needed

Remove the Upper Handle by removing the one Handle Screw located below the Upper Cord Wrap
- The white Wire Harness should be sticking out of the handle
- If it’s set back, pull it out until it clicks into place

The Thermal Protector may turn off machine if it get too hot due to a clog or dirty filters
- Check machine for clogs and clean all filters – see No Suction troubleshooting steps for more information
- Allow machine to rest for 30 minutes to reset

If machine still does not have power, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
