Unplug machine
-
Check pre-motor filter for debris
- Pre-motor filter may be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent
- Let completely dry before putting it back into the machine

Check motor duct for suction at intake by turning plugging machine in and turn it on
- If suction exists at motor duct turn off and unplug machine2as
- If no suction at motor duct, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Remove hose and check for a clog in suction opening

Make sure the door is latched shut
- Door will not latch without bag in place

Re-attach the hose (make sure it is securely attached to suction opening)

Check for suction at end of hose with attachments and powerhead off
- Check the variable suction control
- If it is set to “min”, it may simply need to be adjusted to a higher setting
- If the hose is clogged, work clog loose by massaging clogged area and/or gently twisting hose where it’s clogged until clog works itself free

If there is suction at the end of the hose with the attachments off, but not with them on, the attachment may need to be cleared of clogs
- The powerhead can be cleared by removing the access plate and brush
-
Check extension wand for clogs
- Clogs in extension wand may be removed by pushing a broom stick through it
- If brush is not turning, refer to the Brush Not Turning troubleshooting

Check post-motor filter for clogs
- Post-motor HEPA filter is not washable and may need to be replaced

If still no suction, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
