Unplug machine
-
Empty dirt container by sliding the Lock ‘n Seal Lever to the unlock position
- Pull dirt container straight out of machine

Take out inner cyclone from upper tank by twisting to the left and pulling down
- The cyclone may be washed with a mild detergent
- Allow to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before replacing in machine

Remove foam pre-motor filter located in slide out tray located below dirt container
- Clean with water and mild detergent
- Allow to air dry completely (24-48 hours) before replacing in machine

Take out the white pleated post-motor filter located beneath foam filter
- Post-motor filter is NOT washable and must be replaced when dirty

Recline handle and turn machine over so bottom is facing up

Remove the five screws on the brush cover and lift off

Grasp brush at both ends and lift out of machine
-
Inspect brush and belt for damage
- Brush should spin easily by hand
- Belt should be intact
- If parts are damaged, replacement

Clean debris from brush, brush ends, and belt areas
-
Reassemble brush area and test machine again

If machine is still loud, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
