Unplug machine

Run hand along entire length of power cord, it should be smooth

Check plug for damage
- If either the cord (not smooth or exposed wires) or plug (prongs) are damaged, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us

Check to see if outlet is working:
- Test this by plugging in a cell phone charger or small appliance
- If no power to outlet, test a different outlet in a separate room
- Reset circuit breaker if needed

Verify handle is firmly inserted with screws tightly secured to the machine
- Front-side of handle should be flush with lower handle assembly
- If there is a gap, push firmly until flush

Machine is equipped with a Thermal Protector that will shut off the vacuum if there is a clog or dirty filters
- The power and brush lights will blink if machine overheats and Thermal Protector engages
- Refer to “No Suction” for more information on how to clean filters or remove clogs
- Remove obstructions and allow machine to rest for 30 minutes for Thermal Protector to reset
- If machine still does not have power, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
