Product Usage Instructions
Powering On/Off:
To power on the XYZ-2000, plug in the AC adapter and press the power button. To power off, simply press and hold the power button until the display turns off.
Selecting Operating Modes:
Use the mode selection buttons to choose the desired operating mode. The selected mode will be displayed on the screen for easy reference.

Caution: The installation and operation of a wind generator is associated with
mechanical and electrical risks. (→p.4,5,6,9 etc.)
Preferably install the wind generator on a windless day!
The following diagram provides an overview:
- Determine the installation location of the wind generator mast and the hybrid charge controller (→p.7, 10). With lead-acid batteries, the charge controller must not be installed directly next to the batteries. Danger of explosion! Ensure sufficient ventilation! Install both.
- Lay the required cables so that they are not subject to mechanical stress. Ensure sufficient cable dimensioning (→p.5,9,10). Do not connect the cables yet!
- Mount the rotor blades on the hub using the enclosed screw set (→p.13)
- Mount the fin on the generator (→p.13)
- Mount the wind generator with the noise decoupling insert on the mast. First connect the connecting cables running in the mast to the charge controller on the generator (→p.13,14).
- Mount the set of rotor blades on the shaft of the wind generator. Do not forget the 3.5 mm spacer ring.(→p.14) Attach a rotor blade to the wind generator mast using a piece of rope.
- Mount the front cover (nose). (→S.14)
- Now connect the three cables coming from the generator to the charge controller. Polarity does not need to be observed.
- Connect the hybrid charge controller to the battery with the correct polarity (!). Do not forget the 60A fuse in the (+) line! (→S.14)
- Install the external stop switch (additional part) with the enclosed wiring harness. No voltage may be applied to the input of the stop switch on the charge controller. 10.
- Remove the piece of rope with which a rotor blade was secured to prevent the generator from starting.
- If there is sufficient wind, the generator will now start if the stop switches are not activated or the batteries are full and everything else has been done correctly. Troubleshooting(→p.17f.)Checks (→p.16)
- Set the necessary parameters (in particular the end-of-charge voltage as specified by the battery manufacturer) on the charge controller (see user manual of the hybrid charge controller)
