The BPAFree Wet Blending Jar & 2 SS Jars ensures hygiene and the metal body of the main device makes it certain that it endures regular use for a longer period of time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING KENT SUPER STRONG GRINDER & BLENDER

  1. Check the unit for damages. Do not use in case of any damage.

  2. Before switching on the appliance, make sure that your home’s mains voltage corresponds to the unit’s operating voltage.

  3. Clean the KENT Super Strong Grinder & Blender before using it for the first time.
    (See ‘Cleaning & Maintenance’ section)

  4. Make sure all parts are completely dry before you start using it.

  5. Connect the appliance to the main power supply and switch it on.

  6. Place the jar properly on the motor unit.

  7. Add ingredients.

  8. Flip the power switch to ‘ON’ position.

  9. Vary speed as required by rotating the Speed Control Knob.

  10. You may use the Push Rod to push the ingredients if needed (for 2L jar only).

  11. After use, turn off the appliance and unplug it.

OPERATION PANEL EXPLAINED

KEY FUNCTION

P o w er Switch (ON/OFF)

| This key is used to start/stop the appliance.| To start or stop the appliance, flip the power switch.

Pulse Swit ch

| This key allows the appliance to run in short bursts at max. speed for quick mixing.| Flip the key to run the appliance in short bursts.

Speed Contr ol Knob

| This function allows the user to change the speed control knob as per needs.| To increase or decrease the speed, turn the switch in a clock-wise or counter clock-wise direction.

HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Place required jar on the motor and lock it.
  2. Add desired ingredients.
  3. Securely place the lid above the jar.
  4. Plug in and switch it on (keep hand on lid while operation).
  5. Once done, please clean the appliance before storing it.
MODES

Blending Mode

  1. Put food or liquid in the Wet Blending Jar.
  2. Put the lid on the plastic jar firmly and place cap on the lid.
  3. Switch ‘ON’ and then
  4. Place the jar properly on the unit
  5. Add ingredients
  6. Flip the power switch to ‘ON’ position
  7. Vary speed as required by rotating the speed control knob
  8. After use, turn off the appliance and unplug it
  9. Once finished, turn off and unplug.
  10. Remove the Wet Blending Jar by lifting it.

Grinding Mode

  1. Fill the jar with ingredients (not more than 50% of the capacity) and screw back to the base.
  2. Put the lid on the SS jar and secure it tightly, place the cap on the lid and lock jar and lid with clip properly.
  3. Switch ‘ON’ and then
  4. Place the jar properly on the unit
  5. Add ingredients
  6. Flip the power switch to ‘ON’ position
  7. Vary speed as required by rotating the speed control knob
  8. After use, turn off the appliance and unplug it
  9. Once finished, turn off and unplug.
  10. Remove the SS Jar by lifting it.

Chutney Mode

  1. Fill the jar with spices (not more than 50% of the capacity) and place the lid on SS jar firmly.
  2. Put the lid on the SS jar and secure it tightly, place the cap on the lid and lock jar and lid with clip properly.
  3. Switch ‘ON’ and then
  4. Place the jar properly on the unit
  5. Add ingredients
  6. Flip the power switch to ‘ON’ position
  7. Vary speed as required by rotating the speed control knob
  8. After use, turn off the appliance and unplug it
  9. Once finished, turn off and unplug.
  10. Remove the SS Jar by lifting it.

RECIPES AND TIPS

Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

  1. Fruit of your choice: 2 cups chopped
  2. Water or Milk: 1 cup
  3. Ice Cubes: 1 cup

Method:

  1. Put the chopped fruits, water or milk and ice cubes in the jar.
  2. Secure the lid firmly and press the power switch.
  3. Blend for a few minutes. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
Dosa Batter

Ingredients:

  1. Whole Skinned Urad Dal: 1 cup
  2. Rice: 2 cups
  3. Salt: As required
  4. Water: As required

Method:

  1. Mix dal and rice and let it soak in water overnight.
  2. Add soaked dal, rice and water in the jar and grind it to a right consistency.
  3. Pour the batter in a large bowl. Mix salt and let it ferment for 5-6 hours.
  4. Once the batter is ready, make delicious dosas.
Cold Coffee

Ingredients:

  1. Milk: 1 cup
  2. Sugar: 1½ tbsp or to taste
  3. Coffee Powder: 1½ – 2 tbsp or to taste
  4. Ice Cubes: 4-5 or as needed
  5. Cocoa Powder or Chocolate Sprinkles: Optional

Method:

  1. Put the milk, coffee, sugar and ice into the blender.
  2. Blend it for a few minutes until it gets frothy and smooth.
  3. Pour into a big serving glass.
  4. Garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate sprinkles (optional).
Chutney

Ingredients:

  1. Coriander Leaves: 1 cup
  2. Mint Leaves / Pudina: ½ cup
  3. Clove & Garlic: 3 pcs
  4. Ginger: 3 inch
  5. Green Chilli: 3 pcs
  6. Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder: ½ tbsp
  7. Salt: ½ tsp
  8. Hing / Asafoetida: Pinch
  9. Water: ½ cup
  10. Lemon Juice/ Amchur: 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Take 1 cup coriander leaves and ½ cup mint leaves in the chutney jar
  2. Add 3 pcs of clove & garlic, 3 inch ginger and 3 pcs of green chilli.
  3. Additionally add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp salt and pinch of hing.
  4. Blend smooth adding ½ cup water.
  5. Transfer to a cup and mix 1 tbsp lemon juice or add amchur if required.
  6. Finally, green chutney for chaat is ready to use for sandwich or chaats.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

  1. Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

  2. Remove the lid and clean the jar with a solution of lukewarm water and soap.
    Use a cleaning brush, never use scouring pads to clean it.

  3. Wipe the main unit with a moist cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.

  4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

  5. Never put any part of the appliance in a dishwasher.

  6. After cleaning it thoroughly, dry it using a soft cloth.

  7. Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before storing it.

Note: Never immerse the motor unit of the blender in water, nor rinse it under the tap. Wipe it with a dry cloth.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. Do not disassemble or repair the appliance on your own.
    It may cause appliance failure or breakdown.

  2. The input voltage must not exceed the rating; it might damage the appliance.

  3. Unplug before cleaning/moving the appliance.

  4. Do not use the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug.

  5. If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a genuine KENT spare.

  6. Do not install the appliance near any heat source, e.g., heater.

  7. If the appliance is not in use for a longer time, unplug it.

  8. Do not sit on, stand on or shake the appliance.

  9. Do not use the appliance when it is in a recumbent or inclined position.

  10. Do not operate machine continuously for more than 5 mins. Rest for 2 mins and begin again as desired.

  11. In case of overheat / overload, turn the knob to off and rest for 20 mins and push overload reset button on the bottom side of the motor unit.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Unplug when not in use and before servicing.
  2. Always increase the speed gradually a) Low speed – 30s, b) Medium speed – 60s, c) High speed – 90s.
  3. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use near or on wet surfaces.
  4. Use the appliance only as described in the manual.
  5. Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged or worn out. Replace the damaged cord or plug immediately.
  6. Do not try to service the appliance on your own. Send it to an authorised service center only.
  7. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  8. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling the cord. Always unplug by pulling the plug and not the cord.
  9. To avoid electric shocks, do not use the appliance with wet hands.
  10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from moving parts.
  11. Turn all controls off before unplugging.
  12. This appliance is suitable for indoor use only.
  13. Keep away from children.
  14. The appliance is not designed to be used by people who are physically or mentally disabled or mentally handicapped or lack relevant experience and knowledge, unless a person responsible for their safety uses the product for supervision or guidance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does not start.| There is connection problem| Check if the appliance is connected to the mains and if the plug is inserted firmly into the wall socket.

The appliance suddenly stops working while running.| The appliance has overheated.| Switch Off the appliance from Knob & Let the appliance cool for 20 minutes before attempting to restart it.
The appliance is overloaded.| Remove some ingredients, add some water and try again.
The appliance is defective.| Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Go to the nearest KENT authorised service centre for assistance.
The appliance makes lots of noise.| The jar is not placed properly.| Reposition the jar in the correct position.
Blades not working properly.| Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Go to the nearest KENT authorised service centre for assistance.
Blender’s inner drive is broken.
Motor does not work properly.| Appliance is defective.| Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Go to the nearest KENT authorised service centre for assistance.
