Getting started

1. Install a 9V battery by sliding off the rear cover.

| 2. Plug the attached cable into your device’s headphone input or lightning adapter.

3. Plug a pair of headphones into the headphone input.

| 4. Connect a microphone via XLR cable.

5. Move the Power switch to the ON position.
If you have connected a condenser microphone, select the +48V position to supply phantom power.
The 48V LED on the front panel will light red.TC HELICON High-Quality
Microphone Preamp for Mobile Devices - Getting started5| 6. While speaking into the microphone, turn up the GAIN wheel. If your voice distorts when singing or speaking loudly, turn the GAIN control back down a bit.

7. Download your favorite TC Helicon app to begin experimenting with vocal effects.

Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
