Getting started

  1. Install a 9 V battery by sliding off the rear cover.Getting started 1

  2. Plug the attached cable into your device’s headphone input or lightning adapter.Getting started 2

  3. Plug a pair of headphones into the headphone input.Getting started 3

  4. Connect a microphone via XLR cable.Getting started 4

  5. Move the Power switch to the ON position.
    If you have connected a condenser microphone, select the +48 V position to supply phantom power. The 48 V LED on the front panel will light red.Getting

  6. While speaking into the microphone, turn up the GAIN wheel. If your voice distorts when singing or speaking loudly, turn the GAIN control back down a bit.Getting started 6

  7. Download your favorite TC Helicon app to begin experimenting with vocal effects.
