BEFORE FIRST USE
  • Remove any power cords and small objects from the floor that may obstruct your Venga robot vacuum cleaner. Fold any tasseled edges of area rugs underneath to prevent tangling when vacuuming.
  • Avoid cleaning very dark coloured, high-pile rugs or rugs thicker than 1.02 in. / 26 mm, as they may cause the appliance to malfunction.
  • Keep the robot vacuum cleaner away from spaces lower than 3.94 in. / 100 mm to prevent it from getting stuck. If necessary, place a physical barrier to block off the problem areas.
  • Keep the robot vacuum cleaner away from wet areas.
  • The robot vacuum cleaner may climb on top of objects less than 0.71 in. / 18 mm tall. Remove these objects if possible.
  • Place physical barriers in front of fireplaces and areas that could damage the robot vacuum cleaner. It is also recommended to place physical barriers to block off areas where the robot vacuum cleaner may fall.
  • Remove the foam blocks beside the bumper before use.

NOTE : Cliff sensors prevent the robotic vacuum cleaner from falling down stairs, steep steps or slopes. The sensors can be impaired when dirty or when used on highly reflective / very dark floors and work less effectively.

Anti-fall sensors can also be triggered by strong sunlight. If this causes the robot to move in an unusual pattern, please use the curtains to prevent sunlight from entering the room, or switch the robot on later when the strong sunlight has subsided.

A. Charging dock position

  • Place the charging station against a wall and on a flat surface. Avoid rugs or carpets.
  • Make sure the space is open and clear. Pay attention to the following minimum distances :
    • 2 meters (6 feet) in front of the charging dock
    • 1 meter (3 feet) on both sides of the charging dock.

  • Connect the small end of the power adapter to the connector on the back of the charging station and plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Always leave the charging station connected, otherwise the robot will not automatically return to it.
