Welcome to the Venga! family. We’re happy to have you as our customer and
hope to make your life easier with our carefully selected product range.
This robot vacuum cleaner has been in the market for over 3 years. This means
that we have over 26 thousand hours of experience during which our team and
our customers helped us make this item even better over time.
Here are a few tips to optimize your experience with your robot vacuum
cleaner:
-
Let’s take a quick look at how your RVC 3000 sees the world: its sensors bounce infrared rays off the floor and walls to measure the distance to them. If the robot detects a sudden increase in the distance to the floor, for example on stair edges, it will stop and turn around. Please note, that very dark floors or strong direct sunlight can trick the cliff sensors because infrared rays may not return to the sensors. An easy solution is closing the curtains to block strong sunlight – or simply using the robot later.
Similarly, the robot may have difficulties detecting dark walls, sharp corners, and thin furniture feet. In this case, the front bumper will guarantee smooth contact -
. Keep cables out of the robot’s pathway! Cables are very difficult for the robot to detect. The robot can easily push into them and pull the appliances they are connected with.
-
The RVC 3000 navigation system consists of a series of programs to move in space. It may pass over the same path several times and seem to avoid some spots. But don’t worry: your robot is very thorough and will clean every spot it can reach.
-
Prevent the robot from entering spaces that are too tight or too low for it to pass through, as it may get stuck.
-
The closer the robot is to the charging dock, the easier it can return to it. If the robot is far away from the charging dock and out of signal reach, it will use a customized pattern until it reaches the signal again. Please be patient while it finds its way back.
-
Clean the brushes on a regular basis. As for all robot vacuum cleaners, long hair can quickly block the side brushes, the rolling brush, and even the wheels. Also, remove the dust in the filters as often as possible to ensure consistent performance – your robot does the dirty work but likes to stay clean!
In a nutshell: for an optimal Venga! experience, keep your house “robot vacuum cleaner friendly” (no loose cables or other things that could hinder its movement). Let it work while you are sleeping or enjoying some time off and come back later to be amazed by the cleanliness of your house and the unexpectedly large amount of dust your robot was able to collect.

QUICK START
Plugin the charging dock, and place the remaining excess cable into the cable storage space at the bottom of the charging dock. Note: if you don’t put the excess cable into the storage space, it may get tangled with the robot while charging or cleaning.
Charging dock position
Place the charging dock on a hard, level surface and against a wall. Make sure the area around the charging dock is open and
uncluttered, leaving at least:
- 2 m / 6 ft in front.
- 1 m / 3 ft on both sides.
Install the charging dock in a location that your Venga! the robot can easily
access. Always keep the charging dock plugged in. Install side brushes.
Attach side brushes to the bottom of the robot by pressing a brush into each
slot. Remove the bumper protectors and turn on the main power switch on
the bottom of the robot. Charge the robot
Place the robot onto the charging dock, making sure the charging contact
pins on the charging dock match up with those underneath the robot. If
successful, you hear 3 tones and the robot will start charging with a
breathing orange light.
Start cleaning
Press the power button once to wake up the robot.
Press the power button again to start a fully automatic cleaning cycle with
the one-touch control. Plug and play – simple as that!
To pause the robot, press the button on the robot or press the ****button on
the remote control. To resume the cleaning cycle, press the same button again.
To send the robot back to the charging dock, press the button on the robot or on the remote control. If you want to simply end the cleaning cycle and put your robot in standby mode, press and hold the button until the robot‘s indicator light turns off.
HOME CLEANING
AUTOMATIC CLEANING
To start the automatic cleaning mode, press the “AUTO” button on the remote
control or press the power button
To maximally clean the surface, the robot alternates between cleaning modes in
the open areas:|
---|---
Zigzag mode: the robot moves in a back-and-forth pattern.|
Random mode: the robot moves in random directions.|
Edge cleaning mode: the robot cleans along walls and around furniture legs.|
SPOT CLEANING
When you select spot cleaning, the robot cleans a defined area by spiraling
about 1 meter in diameter outwards, and then back inwards. When you use this
mode, the robot boosts its vacuum power to provide the best possible cleaning
results.
To start, place your robot on the spot you want it to clean and press the spot
cleaning button on the remote control. EDGE
CLEANING
Use edge cleaning mode to clean along walls and around furniture
legs. ROOM CLEANING
When a specific room needs to be cleaned, please press the room cleaning
button on the remote control. The robot will combine spiral cleaning, random
cleaning, and edge leaning. It will stop after 30 minutes and switch to return
to charging dock mode. MAXIMUM SUCTION
The robot increases its suction power to provide a deeper cleaning process
when you press the “MAX” button on the remote control. Maximum suction is off
by default. You can activate it at any point during a cleaning program.
Please be aware that this extra boost of power will consume more energy and
that the robot will have to return to the charging dock more often for
charging. MOP CLEANING
The robot is equipped with a water tank that enables it to mop floors.
Attach the cloth and fill the tank with water. Remove the dust bin. Place back
the water tank and start the desired cleaning mode. When finished, empty the
water tank, rinse it with clean water and store it in a dry environment or it
may become cloggy and smelly. Check that the 4 water drainage holes are not
blocked. If necessary, unblock them with a small needle.
RETURN TO CHARGING DOCK
When at any point the robot’s power drops below 20%, it will go into a
return to charging dock mode by lowering the rotation speed of the brushes and
using a customized movement pattern to return to its charging dock.
The maximum signal range from the charging dock to the robot is 6 meters, but
it can be considerably shortened by any obstacle in front of the charging
dock. Make sure the area around the charging dock is open and uncluttered –
cf. Charging dock position.

perform the following care procedures. If you notice the robot picking up less
dust or debris from your floor, then please empty the dust bin and clean the
filter and the rolling brush. Cleaning the brushes is important as hair may
remain stuck and block them.
Recommended cleaning/replacement frequency:
| Cleaning| Replacing
---|---|---
Dust bin| After each use| –
Filters| Once every week| Every 2 months
Rolling brush| Once every week| Every 6-12 months

-
- Clean the rolling brush: if any hair, threads or yarn got stuck, simply cut them loose with the help of the cleaning tool that has been provided with your robot. Then carefully remove everything. Only if the rolling brush can rotate freely, your Venga! the robot can operate at peak performance.
- Remove the side brushes, and use a cloth to remove the dust from the brushes.
- Pull out the swivel wheel, then clean it with the cleaning tool.
- Dust off the cliff and anti-collision sensors to maintain optimal performance.
Our recommendations to maximally extend the battery’s lifespan:
- When using it for the first time, first use the remaining power of the robot, then charge it for 4-6 hours.
- Avoid over-discharge of the battery.
- If the robot does not have to operate for more than 3 days, we advise fully charging it and turning off the main power switch on the bottom.
TROUBLESHOOTING – ERROR TONE
Your Venga! the robot will tell you when something is wrong with a two-tone
distress sound. The indicator will also blink or light up in red. Refer to the
chart below to resolve the robot’s problem.
For some errors, rebooting the robot may resolve the problem. To reboot the
robot, use the main power switch on the bottom of the robot. You will hear a
tone signifying a successful reboot.
