Builder Light Battery Installation
Battery-powered features of the toy:
Bring light to your Builder system set with these newly added cool light units
which were just added to the building system. The light units have 4 different
positions; OFF, a steady light, a flashing light or a pulsating light. Combine
the four included light units together with the colored, transparent
components to create exciting light variations and really cool color effects.
The lighting unit is compatible with existing components in the Builder system
series.
Keep in mind that:
- The toy is not water-resistant and should never be washed in a dishwasher.
- Wipe off the toy with a clean cloth to remove any foreign materials.
- For safety reasons, do not disassemble the toy.
- The color of the toy may fade over time.
- Avoid strong sunlight and other sources of heat.
- Only indoor play is recommended.

Replacing batteries:
The light effects for this toy are powered by 2 x 1,5V (LR44) button cell batteries (included). Use a screwdriver to open the battery cover (see illustration). Install the batteries as shown (+/–). Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Warning:
- Dispose of used batteries immediately.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
Important:
- Only adults should install and replace batteries.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Only recommended batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended (1.5V) are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Always remove batteries if the toy is not to be used for some time.
- Protect the toy from water or dampness.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries..
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Used batteries and electrical components must be disposed of at an approved collection point.
- Electrical components or batteries must not be thrown with household waste.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- this device may not cause harmful interference, and
- this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
