Thank you for purchasing the Hyperkin “X88* Headset for )(box One/Xbox Series
X. In order to use the chat function of your X88. you must be connected to the
Internet.
For your safety. and the safety of others. ‘, tease carefully read this
manual before using this product. Please fully charge the X88 before operating
for the first time.

Syncing Your X88
-
With your console powered ON, insert the DONGLE into the front or side’ USB port on your Xbox One console. The DONGLE is also compatible with USB hubs. On your Xbox Series X, use an available USB port.
*we recommend using the front USB port for the best connection. You can use the side USB port or USB hub if the front USB port is not available. The Xbox One’s USB ports are limited to tyro Xbox compatible device per port. -
Press the POWER BUTTON on your X88 headset once to turn it ON. Once the headset is ON, it will automatically enter Syncing Mode. This is indicated by a rapidly flashing LED on the inside of your headset and in front of your DONGLE.

Once fully synced, the first LED on the X88 will start to slowly flash BLUE. Syncing may take a few moments. After the initial syncing, the X88 will automatically resync to your dongle once you power your headset ON.
Note: If you lose connection, the LEDs on your X88 and DONGLE will start to flash. If your X88 is unpaired for more than 10 seconds, it will start to quickly flash in increments of two. If it cannot pair, it will turn OFF.
Putting on Your Headset

Gently loop the Earloop around your ear.

Make sure that the SPEAKER on the inside of your headset is comfortably resting over your ear canal.
Note: The X88 comes with the Earloop attached, if you would like to
change the orientation of the X88 to fit your other ear or switch earpieces
review the ‘Changing Your Earhook/Earloop’ section of the manual.
Using the X88

With your console powered ON and your DONGLE inserted in a USB port, press the POWER BUTTON once to turn on your headset.
Note: We recommend you fully charge your headset before use. The battery level of the X88 can be viewed from the LED INDICATORS on the inside of your headset by pressing the power button once. -
Pressing the MUTE BUTTON once will allow you to mute your MICROPHONE. You will hear a beep to indicate your change. Once muted, the first and fourth LEDs on the inside of your headset will slowly flash. Pressing the MUTE BUTTON again will unmute your MICROPHONE You will hear two beeps to indicate your change.

Pressing the PLUS or MINUS VOLUME BUTTONS will allow you to adjust the volume settings of your SPEAKER. Once your SPEAKER is at the lowest or highest volume setting, it will BEEP two times.

Once you are done playing, hold the POWER BUTTON for 3 seconds to turn OFF your headset. Turning off your Xbox One console will also automatically put your X88 into Sleep Mode.

Holding the POWER BUTTON for 10 seconds will reset the headset.
Note: Your X88 will not turn on automatically when you turn your Xbox One/Xbox Series X console back on.
Using Multiple Headsets
Connecting two X88 Headsets to a single Xbox One/Xbox Series X console is possible, but it is not recommended as it could affect the quality of your experience. Voice chat performance varies per game.
Charging Your X88

Plug the provided Type-C Charging Cable into your X88’s TYPE-C PORT. Connect the other end to a USB 5V 1A power source (not included). The LEDs on the X88 will start to light up sequentially, indicating that it is

Four solid LEDs will indicate a fully charged battery.

When your X88 is low on battery, the LEDs on the headset will start to quickly flash and the X88 will beep twice in 30-second intervals.
Changing Your Earhook/Eatioop
1. Remove the EARPIECE SLOT COVER from the X88 and set it aside.| 2. Remove the Earloop or Earhook from the EARPIECE SLOT on your
X88.

3. Insert your preferred Earloop/Earhook into the EARPIECE SLOT on the X88.
Make sure that Earhook/Earloop is securely inserted.
Note: The Earhook and Earloops are reversible to fit either
ear.| 4. Reattach the EARPIECE SLOT COVER and press down on it to secure the
Earhook/Earloop in place.
Troubleshooting
Your X88 Is Powering On But Not Syncing
Solution 1: Make sure that the DONGLE Is completely inserted into the USS
port on your Xbox One/Xbox Series X console. Press the POWER BUTTON on your
X88 to reinitiate Syncing Mode.
Solution 2: Move closer to your Xbox One/Xbox Series X and hold the POWER
BUTTON on your X88 for 10 seconds to reinitiate Syncing Mode.
Solution 3: Make sure your headset is charged.
Your X88 Does Not Turn On
Solution 1: Hold down the POWER BUTTON for 10 seconds to restart the
headset.
Solution 2: Check your DONGLE for LED activity, if there is none. Unplug
it and plug it back in. Solution 3: Make sure your headset is charged.
You Can’t Hear the In-Game Chat
Solution 1: Make sure your headset is charged.
Solution 2: Make sure that your X88 Is synced with your DONGLE.
Solution 3: Make sure your Xbox Family Group Settings allow for
communication with other players and you are connected to the Internet.
Solution 4: Make sure your Xbox One’s/Xbox Series X’s settings have the
chat audio outputting to your headset.
Solution 5: Turn up the vixen on your X88 Headset.
Other Players Can’t Hear You
Solution 1: Make sure your X88 is synced with your DONGLE.
Solution 2: Make sure your Xbox Family Group Settings allow for
coarranication with other players and that you are connected to the internet.
Solution 3: Make sure that your headset is not muted. Press the MUTE
BUTTON to make sure your headset isn’t muted. If you press the Mute button
once and hear one beep, it means your mic was active and is now muted. If you
press the Mute button and hear two beeps, it means that your mic was muted and
is now active.
