Pair Button
Press to enter the pairing mode for the subwoofer. -
Subwoofer Indicator
• When the power is turned on, the indicator lights up.
• During wireless pairing between the subwoofer and the main unit, the LED indicator blinks amber slowly.
• When the pairing succeeds. the indicator grows solid.
• When the pairing fails, the indicator blinks amber quickly.
• When the main unit shuts down or enters standby mode, the LED indicator is off.
Connectors
This section includes an overview of the connectors available on your
Soundbarad Subwoofer.
- USB Audio input from a USB storage device.
- HDMI OUT (ARC) Connect to the HDMI input on the TV.
- OPTICAL Connect to an optical audio output on the TV or a digital device.
- AUX Audio input from external devices such as TV, MP3 player, mobile phone. tablet, etc.
- AC—Socket Connect to the power supply.
Remote control
This section includes an overview of the remote control.

Switch to Bluetooth mode. Press and hold to activate the pairing function in Bluetooth mode or disconnect the existing paired Bluetooth device. -

Switch your audio source to the optical connection. -
USB
Switch to USB mode. -
EQ
Select Equalizer (EQ) effect. -
(PLAY/PAUSE)
Start pause or resume play in BT/USB mode. -
(PREVIOUS/NEXT)
Skip to the previous or next track in BT/USB mode. -
VOL +/- (Soundbar’sVolume)
Increase or decrease volume. -
+/- (Subwoofer’sVolume)
Increase or decrease the subwoofer’s volume.
Prepare the Remote control
- The provided Remote Control allows the unit to be operated from a distance.
- Even if the Remote Control is operated within the effective range of 19.7 feet (6m). remote control operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the unit and the remote control.
- If the Remote Control is operated near other products which generate infra-red rays, or if other remote control devices using infra-red rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other products may operate incorrectly.
First-time use :
The unit has a pre-installed lithium battery. Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery.
Replace the Remote Control Battery
The remote control requires a 3V CR2025 Lithium battery.
- Use tools (such as coin batteries/coins) to catch the groove of the battery box cover and turn counter-clockwise tort) (unlock).
- Remove the old battery, which is located in the lid, place the new Cr2025 battery and pay attention to the correct polarity (+1-).
- Use the tools to catch the groove of the battery compartment cover and turn clockwise to (lock), secure it into the remote control.
Precautions Concerning Battery
- When the Remote Control is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), remove the battery from the Remote Control to prevent it from leaking.
- If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery compartment and replace the batteries with new ones.
- Do not use any batteries other than those specified.
- Do not heat or disassemble batteries.
- Never throw them in fire or water.
- Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could cause batteries to short circuit, leak or explode.
- Never recharge a battery unless it is confirmed to be a rechargeable type.
Connect
This section helps you connect your Soundbar to aN and other devices.
For information about the basic connections of your Soundbar and accessories,
see the quick start guide.
Note
- For identification and supply ratings, refer to the type plate at the back or bottom of the product.
- Before you make or change any connections make sure that all devices are disconnected from the power outlet.
Placement
Place the subwoofer at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from your Soundbar, and ten
centimeters away from the wall.
For best results, place your subwoofer as shown below.
Connect the audio from TV and other devices
Connect to HDMI (ARC) Socket
Some 4K HDR TVs require the HDMI input or picture settings to be set for HDR
content reception. For further setup details on HDR display. please refer to
the instruction manual of your TV.
Your Soundbar supports HDMI with Audio Return Channel (MC). If your TV is HDMI
MC compliant, you can hear the TV audio through your Soundbar by using a
single HDMI cable.
- Using a High-Speed HDMI cable (not included). connect the HDMI OUT (ARC) connector on your Soundbar to the HDMI ARC connector on the TV. The HDMI ARC connector on the N might be labeled differently. For details. see the TV user manual.
- On your N, turn on HDMI-CEC operations. For details, see the N user manual.
Note
- Your TV must staopect the HDMI-CEC and ARC functions. HOMICEC and MC must be set to On
- The setting method of HC*11-CEC and MC may offer depending on the IV. For data about MC futon please refer to your TV ChNTIWS manual
- Only HDMI 1.9 compaubk cables can support the ARC function
Connect to Optical Socket
Using an optical cable(not included), connect the OPTICAL connector on your Soundbar to the OPTICAL OUT connector on the TV or other devices.
- The digital optical connector might be labeled SPDIF or SPDIF OUT.
Connect to AUX Socket

Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the TV’s headphone socket to the AUX socket on the unit.

Use an RCA to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the TV’s audio output sockets to the AUX socket on the unit.
-
Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect external devices such as an MP3 player. mobile phone or tablet etc.
Connect to Power
- Before connecting the AC power cord. ensure you have completed all other connections.
- Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit.
- Connect the mains cable to the AC—Socket of the unit and then into a mains socket.
- Connect the mains cable to the AC—Socket of the subwoofer and then into a mains socket
- Power cord quantity and plug type vary by region.
Pair up with the subwoofer
Automatic Pairing
Plug the Soundbar and the subwoofer into the mains sockets and then press on
the unit or remote control to switch the unit to On mode. The subwoofer and
Soundbar will automatically pair.
Tips
Do not press Pair on the rear of the subwoofer, except for manual pairing.
Manual Pairing
If no audio from the wireless subwoofer can be heard manually pair up the
subwoofer.
- Press and hold the & — (Source & Vol-) on the Soundbar simultaneously, and then press and hold Pair on the subwoofer.→The AUX/USB indicator on the Soundbar and the Pair indicator on the subwoofer will blink slowly. The subwoofer will be paired successfully in about 2 seconds.
- The AUX/USB Indicator goes off, the pairing LED indicator of the subwoofer grows constant when successful. 3. If manual pairing failed and the Pair indicator still keeps blinking. repeat step 1.
Tips
- The subwoofer shad be within 6 m of the Soundbar in an open area (the closer the better).
- Remove any objects between the subwoofer and the Soundbar.
- if the wireless connection fah again. check if there is a conflict or strong interference (e. g. interference from an electronic device) around the Imationftemove these conflicts or stung interferences and repeat the above prixeckires.
Use your Soundbar
This section helps you use the Soundbar to play audio from connected devices.
Before you start
- Make the necessary connections described in the quick start guide and the user manual.
- Switch the Soundbar to the correct source for other devices. Turn ON and OFF
- When you first connect the unit to the main socket the unit will be in STANDBY mode. The STANDBY indicator will light up red.

- Press the (POWER) button on the unit or the remote control to switch the main unit ON or OFF.
- Press the (SOURCE) button once on the unit or press any Source button once on the remote control also can wake up the main unit.
- Disconnect the main plug from the main socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.
Auto Standby
The unit automatically turns to Standby mode after about 15 minutes if the TV
or the external unit is disconnected. switched off.
- To switch the unit off completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket
- Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.
Select Modes
- Press the (Source) button repeatedly on the unit or press the corresponding button on the remote control to select the AUX. OPTICAL. HDMI ARC, BT, USB mode.
- The indicator light on the Soundbar will show which mode is currently in use.

Effect Select predefined sound modes to suit your video or music. Press the EQ
button on the remote control to select your desired preset equalizer effects:→
LEDs blink for 3 sec to show the current EQ mode according to the EQ mode

Bluetooth Operation
Through Bluetooth. connect the Soundbar with your Bluetooth device (such as an
iPad, iPhone. iPod touch. Android phone. or laptop). and then you can listen
to the audio files stored on the device through your Soundbar speakers.
What you need
- A Bluetooth device that supports Bluetooth profile A2DP. AVRCP and with Bluetooth version as 4.2 + EDR
- The maximum operational range between the Soundbar and a Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
Bluetooth Status
- Press the buttons repeatedly on the unit or press the Pair/BT button on the remote control to switch the Soundbar to Bluetooth mode. → The Soundbar’s indicator blinks white.
- Press and hold the buttons on the unit or press and hold the Pair/BT button on the remote control to enter pairing mode. Press and hold & + (source & vol+). the previously paired devices will be cleared and the Soundbar re-enters pairing mode. The Soundbar’s indicator blinks white.
- 0n the Bluetooth device. switch on Bluetooth, search for and select Philips TAB7305 to start connection (see the user manual of the Bluetooth device on how to enable Bluetooth).
- Wait until the Soundbars indicator becomes solid white.
- To exit Bluetooth, switch the unit to another source. When your switch back to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth connection remains active.
- 11 you want to connect to another device, press and hold the 0 buttons on the soundbar or the Pair/BT button on the remote control to disconnect the current connected Bluetooth device and enter pairing mode.
USB Operation
You can play music files stored on a connected USB device. For playable types
of files, see “supported audio formats “page 15. Caution: USB sockets cannot
charge to devices.
Factory
default settings
When the unit is powered on. press and hold the VOL + &VOL – . the unit’s all
source LEDs light up 5 seconds and reset the unit to factory default settings.
Wall mount
Note
- Improper wall mounting may result in accidental injury or damage. If you have any queries. contact Consumer Care in your country.
- Before wall mounting, make sure the wall can support the weight of your Soundbar
Screw length/diameter
Depending on the type of wall mounting your Soundbar, make sure that you
use screws of a suitable length and diameter.
- Drill two holes on the wall.
- Secure the dowels and screws in the holes.
- Hang the Soundbar on the fastening screws.

- The unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case. the unit will mute. This is NOT a defect. Ensure that the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV. game console. DVD player. etc.) is set to PCM. Main unit
The buttons on the Soundbar do not work
- Disconnect the Soundbar from the power supply for a few minutes, then reconnect.
Sound
No sound from Soundbar speakers.
- Conned the audio cable from your Soundbar to yourTV or other devices.
- Reset your Soundbar to its factory settings.
- On the remote control, select the correct audio input.
- Make sure that the Soundbar is not muted.
Distorted sound or echo.
- If you play audio from through the Soundbar, make sure that theTV is muted.
Bluetooth
A device cannot connect with the Soundbar.
- The device does not support the compatible profiles required for the Soundbar
- You have not enabled the Bluetooth function of the device. See the user manual of the device on how to enable the function.
- The device is not correctly connected. Conned the device correctly (see Bluetooth Operation on page 13)
- The Soundbar is already connected with another Bluetooth device. Disconnect the connected device, then try again.
The quality of audio play from a connected Bluetooth device is poor.
- The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the device closer to the Soundbar, or remove any obstacle between the device and the SoundBar.
The connected Bluetooth device connects and disconnects constantly.
- The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the device closer to the Soundbar, or remove any obstacle between the device and the Soundbar.
- For some Bluetooth, the Bluetooth connection can be deactivated automatically to save power. This does not indicate any malfunction of the Soundbar
