- Fits all dock, mooring, or anchor lines from 3/8 to 1″ (10–25 mm) diameter
- Good for all double braided and twisted rope
INSTRUCTIONS
Davis Chafe Guards protect your lines and boat’s finish from wear. Removable and adjustable. Hook-and-loop fasteners on the entire inside of the guard grip the line securely; no need for additional strings or ties. The outside cover is made of marine-tough nylon for resistance to chafe over years of use.
Stop chafe damage to expensive dock and anchor
lines.
DIRECTIONS
- If possible, lay the chafe guard on a flat surface with the loop side of the fastener up. Davis Chafe Guards fit lines from 3/8 to 1″ (10–25 mm).
- Start at the edge where both strips of hook-and-loop fasteners are sewn, then roll line and guard together snugly.
- Interlock the fastener strips. Face the seam away from any bend where the line turns around a cleat or roller.
Can be removed and relocated as needed.
