ring 169AGBS Glass Break Sensor ln-app Setup

  1. Make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed.
  2. In the Ring app, open the menu. Tap Set Up a Device, then tap Security, tap Sensor, and find the Glass Break Sensor.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

Installation

We suggest mounting the Glass Break Sensor at least 7′ (2m) off the ground, and close to your glass windows and doors.
Wall. Use the included mounting tape, clean the area, then peel the backing and stick the Sensor. Press it to the wall and hold for 20 seconds to make sure the tape is securely attached.
Ceiling. Use the included scrrews and anchors. First remove the back cover and set the Sensor aside. Screw the back cover to the ceiling. To mount the Sensor, twist it onto the back cover, and secure it in place.

  • (2) screws included: 3×21 mm
  • (2) anchors included: Sx25mm

BATTERY SAFETY

This product contains alkaline batteries. This device requires batteries for use. Only use new 1.SV alkaline AA-sized batteries. Never mix old and new batteries. Keep all of the batteries out of the reach of children. Do not open, disas­semble, puncture, cut, bend, shred or heat the batteries and do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals on the device as they can become hot and cause burns. Remove all batteries if they are worn out or before storing your Device for an extended period of time. Dispose of all batteries in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and do not dispose of batteries by throwing them into a fire. If any batteries begin to leak, take steps to prevent the fluid from coming into direct contact with skin or clothes as the fluid could be corrosive and may be toxic. Remove the batteries and clean the battery compartment in accordance with the battery manufacturer’s recommendations.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recom­mended by the manufacturer. Dispose of the used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
