Aetertek AT-168F Electronic Fences Owner’s Manual
Brand Story of Aetertek
In the 1990s, when elder brother JACK and younger sister TINA were still
teenagers, they lived in the Northridge, San Fernando Valley, Los Angels. One
day, they saw a discarded puppy while playing outside the house. This puppy
was very cute, which made the brother and sister fondle admiringly, so they
took the dog back home.
They gave the puppy a hero’s name — Ryan and expected that one day, the puppy
Ryan could be the soldier who saved the whole family. The brother and sister
played with Ryan every day and regarded it as a part of the family, while Ryan
also grew up in this happy atmosphere.
The peaceful and quiet life went on day after day until the early morning of
January 17, 1994 when a strong earthquake occurred. A large number of houses
collapsed along with landslide. The family members of the brother and sister
were trapped under the house and could not get out. However, the heroical Ryan
rushed out of the ruins to look for rescue opportunities. Finally, at dawn,
the military heard the news and sent a helicopter. Due to the timely rescue,
all the family were safe.
Afterwards, the brother, the sister and Ryan had been living happily for more
than ten years. One year before the brother and sister graduated from
university, Ryan passed away due to senility and illness. Both the brother and
sister were very sad. So they created the brand AETERTEK with the gratitude
and yearning for Ryan, and provided pet-friendly high-tech electronic products
full of human care for the vast number of pet lovers all around the world.

AT-168F Dog E-Fence Training
Training the dogs to stay inside of the covered range:
First, set the transmitter level and move the receiver according to the
reference covered range. And if the receiver is close to the boundary, the
Blue light would start and the closer to the boundary, the faster the beep
sound would be made, and then the vibrate would be triggered. If your dog is
still getting close to the boundary, the shock would be activated. The shock
degree is determinated by the transmitter controlling. If your dog has come
back to the covered range, the warning functions would stop immediately. You
can place the flags on the boundary and repeat training to let your dog learn
this boundary. (If there is any environmental
factor which may be affected signals, please kindly adjust the signal level
based on your own needs. And it is usual to meet such situation because
different environments may cause different signals.) Therefore there is an
error between the actual distance and displayed distance while using.

Training Tips
This product is intended to support behavioral training and is not designed to
be used without necessary interaction. Always praise your dog for good
behavior. Verbal commands with positive reinforcement will contribute to
success of your training and will achieve the fastest and most desirable
results possible.
Professional Dog E-Fence AT-168F
The recommended age for training is a minimum of 6 months, provided that dog
has the attention span and capability to learn basic commands. And it should
not be used on aggressive or elderly animals in poor health or animals
otherwise unable to withstand the stimulus. Use verbal commands first, and
supplement with a corrective stimulus only as needed. Be consistent with your
verbal commands, using the same words every time. Work with your pet on one
behavior at a time to avoid confusion and frustration. Use as little stimulus
as possible and only to reinforce verbal commands when necessary. Do not over
correct your dog. For example, use the beeps as warning by pressing Beep
button. The dog will become conditioned to the beep preceding the corrective
stimulus and will soon learn to recognize the beep as a warning along with
your verbal
command. Do not rely on this product solely to train your dog. Some dogs will
not respond to this product. Aetertek cannot guarantee the effectiveness of
this or any trainer on your dog. If your dog shows signs of growling,
snarling, biting or aggression while using the collar, discontinue use
immediately and contact a professional trainer for advice.
