Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup

  1. Ensure all components are clean before use to meet hygiene requirements.
  2. Connect the tap handle (10) to the tap (9) securely.
  3. Attach the regulator/cartridge carrier (7) to the keg ensuring the delivery tube (3) touches the bottom of the keg.
  4. Secure the black ball lock connection (4) and grey ball lock connection (5) to the keg.
  5. Ensure the gas cartridge is correctly placed and tightened in the regulator/cartridge carrier (7).

Pouring Beer

  1. Ensure the tap is closed.
  2. Turn on the regulator and set it to the desired pressure (recommended 3-5psi).
  3. Open the tap handle slowly to pour beer. Adjust pressure if needed for optimal pouring.

Maintenance

  1. Clean any sediment from internals if experiencing slow delivery or gas leakage.
  2. Replace the gas cartridge if there is a lack of foaming/discharge or if the cartridge does not pierce.
  3. Regularly clean and dry all components after each use for best performance.

GENERAL SAFETY

  • DO NOT remove keg until fully empty.
  • DO NOT remove gas cartridge until fully empty.
  • DO NOT cover the unit while working.
  • DO NOT place in direct sunlight.
  • Children should be supervised at all times around this equipment.

INTRODUCTION

304 Stainless steel beer faucet with pressure releasing valve. The kit works at 25psi maximum that can be controlled to pour the perfect beer. 5-8psi is suggested to dispense beer. The pack comes with a set of spare seals and suction tube. 16g CO2 threaded canister sold separately.

ASSEMBLY

  • Assemble items 9 and 10 and screw assembled items to item 8.
  • Screw assembly to item 4.
  • Push the assemble items (above) onto the inlet on item 1.
  • Assemble items 5, 6, and 7 and push assembled items onto the inlet on item 1.
  • Fit item 3 to inlet on item 1 ensuring full engagement.
  • Cut tube (item 3) to suit keg height. Make sure tube touches bottom of keg.

OPERATION

  • Read this document thoroughly and assemble the unit accordingly.
  • Check that the unit is fully assembled and installed in the appropriate location.
  • Place item 2 into port inside neck of growler and screw fully assembled unit (item 1) onto growler ensuring a good fit.
  • Ensure that valve on item 7 is fully closed.
  • Fit gas canister (not supplied) into item 7 and screw tightly. A light ‘pop’ will be heard when the canister is punctured.
  • Adjust pressure to suit using the regulator on item 7.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Cleaning the internals of the unit is imperative to meet hygiene requirements. Clean before first use or long periods of non-use.
  • Clean internals ONLY with warm, clean water.
  • Cleaning the unit when changing is also recommended to improve your drinking experience.
  • Disconnect the gas feed hose from the dispensing unit and hold the tap in the open position. Rinse through with clean, warm water, force water through the tube and out through the tap. Repeat until satisfied that the unit is clean.
  • DO NOT use abrasive or chemical cleaning materials on any surface of the unit.
  • Wipe interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a clean dry cloth.
  • For more soiled surfaces use a neutral detergent, wipe down with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a clean dry cloth.
