REMOVE FROM PACKAGING
Please remove all packaging including tags, ties & tacking stitches before
giving this product to a child. To remove the product from packaging, twist
and remove all six locks that secure the product to the package. There are
four underneath the unit (Fig. 1) and two behind the unit (Fig. 2). Discard
these locks before giving the product to a child.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
The batteries included are for in-store demonstration. It is recommended that, prior to playing, an adult install fresh alkaline batteries. Here’s how:
- Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover on the back of the register.
- Install three (3) 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.
TURN IT ON
Before playing, move the switch from TRY ME (X) to ON (I).
- I = ON
- O= OFF
- X=TRY ME
LET’S PLAY!

Gently squeeze the sides of the coin tray and insert the tray into the side of the register.

Choose from three different store screens – Hardware Store, Grocery Store, and Clothing Store. Slide the screen into the opening on the top of the display.

Place an item over the fixed scanner and press down to hear a beep.

You can also scan an item with the handheld scanner. Press the button on the handle to hear a beep.

Time to pay! Place bills in the register through the slots on the drawer, or insert the debit card into the reader.

Use the key pad to complete your transaction and hear beeping sounds!

To open the drawer and make change, turn the dial on the side of the unit clockwise. The unit will make a register sound.

Insert bills and coins in the drawer compartments. When you put coins in the rear left compartment and push the drawer closed, the coins will dispense into the coin tray.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Function is limited in TRY ME mode. Move the switch to the ON (I) position for full play function.
- Once you move the switch from TRY ME mode to ON (I) or OFF (O), you cannot move the switch back to TRY ME (X).
- After 60 seconds of inactivity, the backlit screen will turn o and the product will go into sleep mode. Press any button, insert the debit card or open and close the register drawer to turn it back on.
- Clean accessories thoroughly before use. Only use a damp cloth to clean the unit. Keep water away from the battery compartment.
- Accessories are not real food, and they are intented for pretend play only. Do not eat.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
- Use only size “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries (3 required).
- Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
- Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
- Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals.
- Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.

This warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions. Do not treat old batteries as household waste. Take them to a designated
