Turning on and turning off the compartment
The internal temperature of the compartment is approximately 0° when the
compartment is turned on.
To turn on the compartment, press the button (1) for more than one second
until the symbol (2) lights up. The lit symbol (2) means that the compartment
is working. Press the button (1) again for more than one second to turn off
the compartment. The temperature inside depends on the general temperature of
the refrigerator.
For the correct functioning of the “0° ZONE ” compartment, it is necessary that:
- the appliance is turned on;
- the fridge temperature is between +2°C and +6°C;
- the “0° ZONE” compartment is turned on
- Vacation Mode and Stand by are not selected
Note:
– if the symbol does not light up when you turn on the compartment, check that
the drawer is properly inserted; if the problem persists contact the
authorized Technical Assistance Service;
– when the “0° ZONE” compartment is inserted in the appliance you may hear
a faint noise, which you should consider as normal;
Important: be careful when positioning food and containers that are small in
size on the upper shelf of the “0° ZONE“ compartment in order to prevent them
from accidentally falling between the shelf and the back wall of the
refrigerator compartment.
Removing the “0° zone“ compartment
Carry out the following steps:
- To make it easier to remove the compartment, we recommend that you empty (and possibly remove) the lower door shelves.
- Remove the compartment by rotating it upwards.
- Remove the white plastic shelf under the compartment.
Note: it is not possible to remove the upper shelf and side supports.
To use the “0° ZONE“ compartment again, carefully reposition the white
plastic shelf under the compartment before inserting the drawer and turning
the function back on.
To have a larger refrigerator volume and to reduce energy consumption, it is
recommended to remove the “0° ZONE“ compartment.
Clean the compartment and its components occasionally using a cloth and a
solution of warm water (taking care not to submerge the white plastic shelf
under the drawer) and neutral cleaning agents specifically for cleaning the
inside of the refrigerator. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
Before cleaning the compartment (also externally) it is necessary to remove
the drawer to disconnect the electrical supply.
**Fan***
The fan is pre-set to ON.
You can turn the fan on/off by pressing the button and button at the same time
for 3 seconds.
The list 6 icon indicates that the fan is on and therefore the ProFresh
function is on.
- Available only on certain models
If the ambient temperature exceeds 27°C, or if drops of water are present on
the glass shelves, it is essential that the fan is on to ensure the proper
preservation of the food. Deactivation of the fan allows energy consumption to
be optimized.
Note: the fan restarts automatically after a power cut or after turning
off the appliance.
**Antibacterial filter*
Remove it from the box placed in the Fruit and vegetable drawer and insert it
into the cover of the fan. The replacement procedure is included in the filter

FREEZER COMPARTMENT
Freezing fresh food
- It is advisable to set the temperature colder or turn on the Fast Freeze/Fast Cool* at least four hours before removing the food from the freezer compartment, to prolong the preservation of the food during the defrosting phase.
- To defrost, unplug the appliance and remove the drawers. Leave the door open to allow the frost to melt. To prevent the water from escaping during the defrost, it is advised that you place an absorbent cloth on the bottom of the freezer compartment and wring it out regularly.
- Clean the inside of the freezer compartment and dry it carefully.
- Turn the appliance back on and put the food back inside. To remove the frost on the STOP FROST* accessory, follow the CLEANING.
**Ice cubes***
Fill 2/3 of the ice tray with water and put it back in the freezer
compartment. Do not, under any circumstances, use sharp or pointed objects to
remove the ice.
The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen in a specific time period is
indicated on the rating plate.
Load limits are determined by baskets, flaps, drawers, shelves, etc. Make sure
that these components can still close easily after loading.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The drawers, baskets, and shelves should be kept in their current position unless otherwise specified in this quick guide. The light system inside the refrigerator compartment uses LED lights, allowing for better lighting than with traditional light bulbs, as well as for very low energy consumption.
Doors and lids of the refrigeration appliance should be removed before disposal in the landfill, to avoid children or animals getting trapped inside.
