Read carefully before attempting to assemble, install, operate or maintain the
product described. Protect yourself and others by observing all safety
information. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal
injury and/or property damage!
This Fan is for residential use only. It is not intended to be used in
commercial, industrial, or agricultural settings.

When using electrical appliances, these instructions and warnings should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons:

DO NOT use this Fan to ventilate areas where flammable liquids or vapors
are used, stored or are present, including paints, gasoline, varnishes, floor
refinishing products, or solvents. ALWAYS read and follow all warnings and
instructions on the containers for these products!
ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit
loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the outlet and create a
poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential
fire
hazard. Outlets in this condition should be replaced by a qualified
electrician.
ALWAYS Remove Power Supply prior to servicing, cleaning, or moving the
Fan. DO NOT use the Power switch as the sole means of disconnecting power.
NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn
off and disconnect AC Adapter or Battery Pack when not in use.
CAUTION
- Use this product only with specified Lasko RB-BP 18V Lithium-Ion Battery Pack. The use of other battery packs may create a risk of fire, shock, or injury.
- Recharge Battery Pack only with specified Lasko RB-CH Battery Pack Charger. The use of other Battery Pack chargers may create a risk of fire.
- AC Adapter rated for indoor use only. Battery Pack is rated for both indoor and outdoor use.
- When Battery Pack is not in use, keep away from metals that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the Battery Pack terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- DO NOT crush, drop, or damage the Battery Pack. Do not use a damaged Battery Pack, Charger, or Fan. A damaged Battery Pack may result in electric shock, fires, or explosions. Properly dispose of the damaged Battery Pack immediately.
- DO NOT attempt to disassemble Battery Pack. Handling these battery cells could result in electric shock or burns.
- DO NOT operate Fan or charge the Battery Pack near any heat sources.
- DO NOT charge Battery Pack in damp or wet locations.
- Remove Battery Pack from Charger once it is fully charged.
- DO NOT store Battery Pack, Charger, Adapter, or Fan outdoors or in damp or wet locations.
- Use ONLY the provided Lasko AC Adapter. To replace a misplaced component, contact Lasko Customer Service for information on how to purchase replacements (See Page4).
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the Battery Pack; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the Battery Pack may cause irritation r burns.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose yourself to water or rain.
• CAUTION : Risk of Fire and Burns. Do Not Open, Crush, Incinerate, or Heat Battery Pack Above 50˚C (120˚F). Follow Instruction Manual.
• Discharge Battery Pack at a temperature between -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F).
• Charge Battery Pack at a temperature between 10°C – 40°C (50°F to 104°F).
STORAGE & MAINTENANCE:
• Store the Fan with these instructions, in the original carton in a cool, dry
place.
• Store the Battery Pack indoors, away from moisture, and at a temperature
between 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 120°F).
• If storing the Battery Pack for an extended period, store the Battery Pack
with 50% Charge (2 LEDs on Battery Power Indicator).
• Recharge the Battery Pack to 50% charge every 6 months of storage without
use.
• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style
air fresheners, or other cord connected devices, as these devices may overheat
and cause a fire hazard. NEVER use a single extension cord to operate more
than one Fan or another electrical device.
• DO NOT route power cord under rugs, carpets, runners, or furniture. This
may damage the cord or cause it to overheat creating a fire hazard. Arrange
cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• ALWAYS place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface while in operation
to prevent the Fan from overturning.
• NEVER insert or allow fingers or objects to enter grill openings while
Fan is in operation or injury and/or damage to the Fan may occur.
• DO NOT block, cover or obstruct airflow to or from the Fan while in
operation.
• DO NOT use this Fan near water or wet locations such as a bathtub, pool,
or hot tub. Use of this Fan in a wet location may create a shock hazard.
• DO NOT use this Fan if it has been damaged or is not functioning
properly.
• THIS FAN DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2008).
This Fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including areas
where livestock, poultry, or other animals are confined. Please refer to
National Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2008), or applicable state or
local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for agricultural

Insert Battery (until it clicks). To remove, push down on Release Button and
pull away.| To Charge, insert the Battery into Charger, then Insert Plug into

Battery
Battery Power Indicator displays the amount of battery remaining. On High Speed, Battery will last up to 4 hours. Charging the Battery may take up to 4 hours to Fully Charge.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire please observe the following
instructions:
– Always unplug the Battery Pack or unplug the AC Adapter before moving,
servicing, or cleaning.
– NEVER place the Fan in or near water.
– Clean the Fan only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment; the
vacuum will remove the lint and dirt from inside the Fan.
– NEVER attempt to take apart the Fan.
– Clean the body of the Fan with a soft cloth only.
– NEVER use ALCOHOL or SOLVENTS such as gasoline, benzene, paint thinner, or
other harsh cleaners.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
-
This product was designed to be powered by the Lasko 18V RB-BP Battery Pack or the Lasko 20V AC/DC Power Supply
provided with the unit. Do not attempt to use any other battery pack or power supply. -
If your unit shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, your Battery Pack may be out of charge. Use the Battery Pack
Power Indicator to check its charge level. If the light is blinking, the Battery Pack charge is too low to power the Fan. Please
disconnect the Battery Pack and charge. -
Battery Pack will not charge while connected to the Fan, even with AC Adapter plugged in. The Battery Pack will only be charged while attached to the Lasko Charger provided.

Be sure to keep the Battery Pack and Battery Pack area of the Fan clean and clear of any debris. This may prohibit Battery
Pack making contact when plugging into the unit. -

This product uses Lithium-Ion Batteries. Local, state, or federal laws may prohibit the disposal of batteries in ordinary trash.
Do not incinerate this Fan, even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire. For environmentally responsible disposal of this product, contact your local waste service provider or visit www.recyclenation.com -
Upon removal, cover the Battery Pack pack’s terminals with heavy-duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble Battery Pack or remove any of its components. Lithium-Ion batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Also, never touch both terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as a short circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury.
LASKO PRODUCTS, LLC LIMITED WARRANTY(VALID IN THE USA, ITS TERRITORIES, AND
CANADA ONLY)
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS : This product is warranted against defects in
workmanship and/or materials. HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS : This warranty
extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for two (2)
years from the date of original purchase or until the original purchaser of
the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.
WHAT LASKO WILL DO : During the warranty period, Lasko will, at its sole
option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or
replace the whole product with the same or comparable model. For all warranty
claims, the product must be returned to Lasko Products, LLC at customer
expense with proof of purchase within the warranty period. Contact the Lasko
customer service department to obtain a Return Authorization (“RA”). DO NOT
return products without an RA or the warranty claim will not be processed.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER : This warranty does not apply if the
product was damaged or failed because of the accident, improper handling or
operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made, or
attempted. This warranty does not cover shipping costs for the return of
products to Lasko for repair or replacement. Lasko will pay return shipping
charges from Lasko following warranty repairs or replacement.
ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY), LAST TWO YEARS FROM THE DATE OF
ORIGINAL PURCHASE OR UNTIL THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT SELLS OR
TRANSFERS THE PRODUCT, WHICHEVER FIRST OCCURS AND IN NO EVENT SHALL LASKO’S
LIABILITY UNDER ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY INCLUDE (I) INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, OR (II) REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR
OF ANY HOUSE FUSES, CIRCUIT BREAKERS, OR RECEPTACLES. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING
TO THE CONTRARY, IN NO EVENT SHALL LASKO’S LIABILITY UNDER ANY EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WARRANTY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT AND ANY SUCH
LIABILITY SHALL TERMINATE UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
Some states and provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so these exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which
vary from state to state and province to province. Proof of purchase is
required before a warranty claim will be accepted.
